* This desirable Mexican pine is hardy to Z.8. With age will produce 2-3 main stems. It is enhanced by long drooping leaves, with 4 12" leaflets (needles). Slow growing to 50'. Seeds stay viable in cold storage for many years. Makes an excellent bonsai!

seeds
So far I think that one seed is possibly sprouting but since its for trees the growth is very slow.

Confused
I didnt realizes this was going to be six little seeds. Now I have to wait until they grow, if I am lucky. I have not had much luck with growing from seeds in the past, wish me luck. Or send me some tips on how to be successful.

Be Patient
These seeds need to be germinated in the refrigerator for a month, and they take at least a month to come up, so don't do like I did and complain to Hirts right away. They are great seeds, you just need to be patient. It's been six weeks since they've been out of the fridge and I still have some sapplings sprouting.Thank you Hirts.

Seeds viable and saplings healthy.
Waited quite a while before posting a review as I stratified the seeds first. Two saplings out of seven seeds planted are growing nicely. Not easy growing any conifer tree from seed, so I am pleased with what I have so far.
