Dollhouse Miniature Porch Swing in Oak

I couldn't pass this up for my doll house. It was too adorable. The only thing I had a problem with was hanging it. I used clear push pins and that worked great.

The wood itself was fine and the size and quality were good, but I spent half the day surgically altering the cheap chain which was so long i had to take off over 8" from all four sides. The links broke almost with no effort and I felt like a surgeon by the end of it. Very frustrating. Also frustrating were the tiny, cheap eyelet screws included. Thankfully I had some higher quality ones handy at home and threw the ones included into the trash can. Would I buy it again? Eh. Maybe. But I'd know going in that it's going to be a big project and I'd know not to expect a high quality product.

I love that the hanging mechanism is adjustable. I used mine as an addition to a rather small bird house, and so shortening the chains was really helpful.

Charming little swing, it's unfinished wood (and pretty) even though I am not 100% convinced it's actually oak, it seems well made and I like the grain patterns, so I plan to use shellac and enjoy the loveliness of the wood grain.

This is lovely. It will look great on my dollhouse porch. I can't wait to finish the dollhouse and see it swinging there. Good quality and attractive.

Not sure how something with like 3 pieces wasn't put together right, but it wasn't. Had to reattach on chain and the very poor chain quality made it very difficult. Cheap product, would not recommend.

As stated in the title, the swing itself is cute and seems to be holding up well so far. The chain, however is extremely flimsy and has broken several times with very light use. I ended up taking it off and using some thin craft cord instead because it was ridiculous. So plan to have to replace the chain some way of you want to be able to do anything but look at it in the box!
