Daiso Japan Charcoal Face Pack Peel Off Type Blackheads Removal Mask 80g

I love peel off masks. This has never caused my skin any problems when I use it and it doesnt hurt to remove. I usually just use it on my nose and chin area and if I get any on my hair, Its easy to remove with just warm water. Only use a little at a time because a little goes a long way with this stuff. I will be purchasing this again when im done it. I purchased it awhile ago and I still have alot more left.This is how I apply the mask1. I wash my face with a deep cleaning face wash2. I then will steam my face ( I use a washcloth to steam my face. I make the washcloth very warm and lay it on my face for 30 seconds)3. I dry my face then apply a small thin layer (be sure to clip your hair out of your face because your hair can get stuck in the mask. it wont hurt if you wet the hair with warm water but its an added step)4. Wait 20 mins for the mask to dry and peel off and be grossed out at the blackheads coming out of your skin5. I usually wash my face with warm water to get any left behind pieces of the mask

I heard amazing things about this face mask by lots of woman in my beauty groups and had to see what the hype was about. I was slightly disappointed by the results. After it dries on your face and the time comes to peel it off, the pain, let me tell you, prepare yourself! It hurts! And it didn't come off in one big piece, but rather small bits at a time and took forever. My skin was red from it ripping off during the peeling process. I'll admit my face felt very smooth and clean afterwards, but it was not a pleasant process for me. I have done it several times to make sure it wasn't just a bad first experience. It was awful every time. I probably won't be using this often.

This works but you have to apply it in a thick layer to get it to peel/lift correctly, so i only got 4 uses from the tube because of this. Also, shipped from Japan so took about a week to arrive.

It made my skin smoother, but didn't really remove any black heads. It also requires a lot of product to be evenly applied to your face/nose. Not sure if I'll buy again.

Broke me out horrible bad. I tried it on only a few spots on my face, but the results just kept getting worse. I already use a charcoal based face soap so I didn't think it would be bad. Maybe it will work for other people.
