Easy to apply
This is a fantastic door enhancer. Our doors look as good as new, if not better. This really brings out the grain of our oak doors. Its worth sanding the door before applying. Really pleased with this product. Ordered and came immediately. Ordered twice now with same delivery efficiency.

Great and the Original
This Patina used to be sold at most DIY/trade merchants, but sadly declined over the years. This stuff will gives a professional finish on most wood without any special techniques, none of the brush strokes as varnish does. Just a small rag (a brush for hard to get places) and a pair of rubber gloves. It takes a while to dry, going from a tackiness to fully harden. We have used this on such projects as kitchen cabinet doors, giving a great uniformed finish.

Does what it says on the tin!
Good product, easy to use and gives a nice natural finish. Only criticism is that it doesn't appear to be as hard wearing as other finishes (Danish oil or polyurethane varnish).

Patina is a good interior finish
This product gives a good hard finish with a satin finish. Used internally on hard wood brings out the grain and leaves a nice finish. It is easy to use straight from the tin either with a lint free cloth or brush. Used it on many things and it really makes oak hand rails and doors stand out plus it is hard wearing. The first coat can use a bit but you can seal bare wood with a clear Matt varnish to take up the porosity nib down then use this product 2 coats and you will have a lovely finish with no runs especially for people who have a go at this for there first time

Does exactly what it says on the tin...
It's billed as, " the look of wax or polish and the protection of polyurethane"...and that's exactly what it is!Had a great slab of kitchen table wood since the kids were born, so by now full of dinks, deep scratches, stab marks and all sorts of mess that I thought I'd make nice now they adult-ish.Sanded it down and applied two coats with a rag - one at a time, rubbed in well so touch dry. It's bought out the feel and grain out the wood beautifully. It'll also bring out any imperfections you've neglected to sand out by the way! This photo is taken with a flash after sundown so not as flattering as it might be and a little more 'kick' to it than in real life: in real life I'd say it's eggshell plus rather than gloss: it certainly doesn't feel like the plasticised look you can get from a polyurethane. This tin of Patina cost me 10 quid and I did a 6 foot long table with less than quarter of it.I've got some lovely waxed pieces - littered with coffee cup rings - but Patina really is much, much more durable: heat, water, alcohol, etc doesn't seem to dent it. I can't quite believe it's not a more standard application.
