I love this outdoor solar-powered security camera. It has performed flawlessly since I purchased it. I plan on buying another one in the future. The biggest plus is power via solar. No need to connect any annoying physical cables. Easy set-up and great price-point.

I'm owning Boifun solar camera for about a month now. I like to provide a little late review in order to catch some unique benefits that hard to discover on the beginning. It's never ending enjoyment without any complications!This is the most fabulous benefits I've got so far (searching for more & more):1. IT'S a Solar camera!! Thanks God for the sun that keeps it charged. It means maintenance free for me. You don't have to worry about changing the battery while traveling/etc. You stay always on top what is going on around your home.2. An actual solar panel is not part of a camera by itself. Best ever design made. You might need to place the camera where is the shade and poor sunlight, but your solar panel can go on the top of the roof for the most sunlight. LOVE IT!! Truthfully recommend!3. Holes/drilling free! The most important as previous two AS WELL. works best at the time when you are installing it for the first time and have no idea where to place it where is the best spot/corner. Simply move around to find out the most visible area and have no damage to your siding. Another thought - one night you might need to keep control on the side of the building or you decide to hide it - here you go, just move it. Take this advantage from Boifun!4. It's a wireless camera. So amazing getting notified every time something around your place being not home and guess what?? you are able to talk via the camera and give an instructions to a visitor (if needed of course). You have all 5 stars for this Boifun!5. It's a budget safe!! So so important at those days!!!!!!! Yes...you pay once place an order but just do the math on renting it and paying monthly for?? Pay once and have it forever! Plus you are the owner of it. For example, no need - rent it to your neighbor and get paid. It's even can produce $$ at some point:)Honestly, I cannot stop appreciating it. I have much more to write about it but the Best would be to recommend for you to buy it and start enjoying it as much as I do. Won't be disappointed AT ALL!

The hardware is solid. PTZ, infra red night vision, motion detection all work as stated. There is color night detection if you want and turns on the in-device flood lights. Black and white night vision does not turn on the flood lights. Solar battery charging was a requirement. I'm testing angling the panel up from its mount for max light intake. I have a weighted 5 gal. bucket that I hang the camera and panel off of so I can move around the yard for testing. Setup was real easy and explained well. I use mine for a backyard cam and catch night time critters. The main purpose was to watch bird feeders and I'm still working it out.If you are looking for an entry into security cameras, as I was, the BOIFUN ZS-GX1S is a great choice.I had already decided to buy this camera before seeing a coupon on the page. Super bonus.

I have several years of experience with many types of security cameras (Lorex, Ring, Arlo, Blink, Eufy, etc...) so I took a chance with this unfamiliar brand, but I'm happy to say it was worth it. It looks and feels like a quality product right out of the box. As usual, the Japanese influenced English instructions were rife with misspellings and broken English, and were harder to follow than most, but I always read the instructions before starting the actual install/setup. It turns out if you just download the app, it will walk you through the setup and you don't really need the printed instructions. It's really no different than all the other brands to setup, but if you've never done this type thing before, I would advise to get someone who is familiar. In other words like anything that needs a wifi/bluetooth setup, it's not really for newbies or beginners, frustrations will abound. That being said, the picture quality and overall operation are similar to all other brands (no better, no worse...same) but what impressed me is the operating distance. I have this mounted on a telephone pole about 200 feet from my brick house, with a bedroom in between the router and this unit, so there is no line of sight at all, and it still says 100% signal strength, with no lag on video or any operation! I was ready to order an outdoor extender but thought I'd try it first without one, and I'm glad I did. Overall, definitely worth the money.

These are great cameras, image is very high quality easy to use. Wish the app had more recording options with use of cloud.great value.

This is a great camera. charges with included solar panel and is quick to pan and tilt. the zoom function is actually only if you can 2 finger it on your phone. The night vision is full color and wonderful. Wifi connection is strong and steady. good value for the money.1 year update. Having had this camera for a year now, I had to change my rating from 5 stars to 3. Either the solar panel or the battery is starting to go. I can only get the battery to 75% and now sometimes the wireless connection demand from the app won't make the camera move at all. Or when it does, it goes all the way to the end of the rotation arc. Tech support is useless, it takes days for them to respond and when they do you have to go back and get them the invoice number and resubmit your question. They are just useless. I bought 3 of these cameras, because they started out great. The other 2 don't get the use the 1st one does so they are ok. Even with big memory cards they rarely record when they are supposed to, and some times they won't boot up at all. And yes, I have a extremely fast internet mesh system wi-fi signal is always 100%. 1 year later -not so good. Pretty disappointed.
