I wanted a flashlight that had a tighter beam at distance than the ones I had, and this seemed to fit the bill. Although it's not the brightest light I have, the tightness of the beam and candela are just about what I wanted and the brightness is certainly plenty for my usage. Throws a tight beam a good distance. Quality is good, the only negative for me is I am not a huge fan of the control method and the way it utilizes the two switches (one at rear, one on the side nearer the front) depending on what you want the light to do, but that is more personal preference than anything. While it isn't as easy to slip in a pocket compared with other flashlights because of the size of the lens area, I actually do sometimes still slip this in a pocket depending on what I have going on at my work. It's not the absolute ideal, but it is doable (while wearing dress/suit pants).Currently this is the only Wurkkos flashlight I own, but I will most likely be buying others from this brand based on my experience with this one. Definitely recommended if you want more of a spotlight style versus a floodlight.

Great size and even on the medium setting, it's sturdy, and very bright! I can't speak to battery life, but I've had it for a while now and I'll play with it randomly and I haven't needed to charge it yet if that says anything?

Great light! Powerful at night during camping.

The TD01 is definitely one of those light saber lights. Its hard to find a line of sight where it doesn't light everything up. Beam is tight with a ring around the outer edge. In practical use its no issue. As with alot of these lights running on turbo tends to get toasty but high will still reach anything you need it to and a quick double tap when you need the extra.The particular light I received has a mushy side switch, but still functions well. A shame to see given that they produce lights with a similar switch and better feel. Given that it is FET driven output is dependant on battery level and reduces output as it drains. A buck driver would improve things in the department. (Wurkkos is developing the TD01C with the buck driver) Also throwing in the SFT40 5000k would yield similar performance with a warmer tint.As always Wurkkos delivers a solid product at outstanding price to performance and listens to the community. Given this light's strength is throwing and not a general purpose light as it is, it works brilliantly, convenient onboard charging, large battery and cool TIR optic.Measured on my Opple 4.
