I recently gutted my kitchen down to the wall studs, replacing all the electrical lines and replacing the sheetrock. My main reason for purchasing this was to clearly mark where the electrical lines are for mounting an above range air filter. I give this a 5 star score based on wood wall studs. I tested it out on numerous wall studs and because I know where the centers are based on my sheetrock screws, I can say I am very satisfied with this as a wood stud finder. I have 4 electrical outlets in the kitchen and this did not detect any of the electrical lines. I also have one line coming down for my future range fan and that was not detected. I am keeping this because it is a great wood stud finder.

The value for the item is okay. The accuracy and size are good and It's very lightweight. Functionality though it is not very user friendly. You have to mess with the settings a bit in order for it to start working and to detect the stud. The quality of over all is fair.

Stud finder is incredibly easy to operate and at works very well , the product came faster than anticipated, and fully operational out of the box, thumbs up for this product, when this tool is misplaced or taken without being asked I will purchase this model as the replacement

Terrible stud finder. Beeps a lot and finds nothing. Used a magnet one and it was like night and day.
