Set of 2 beautiful mossy green brown Norse Bind Rune pendants handmade from high fire white stoneware clay. Each pendant has been individually hand rolled by me, air dried for 3 full days, carved with the Bind Runes for Strength & Protection, then fired for 8 hours at 1900F. After the firing, I glazed each pendant on BOTH sides with non-toxic glazes then back in the kiln for another firing. The oval pendants average 1-3/4 to 2 inches long by 7/8 - 1 inch wide by 1/4 inch thick (45-53mm x 23-25mm x 6mm ). Perfect for your beading projects, jewelry designs or where ever you may want to put them, have fun! **Due to the hand rolling process, there are slight variations in thickness and size. I do not use any molds and I etch the designs by hand into each pendant. Each set is unique, one of a kind. What you see in the photos are what you will receive. Color intensity may vary from PC monitor to smartphone screen.** Uruz: Strength (the Wild Ox) and Algiz: protection (the Elk) Bind Runes: A Bind Rune (often spelled BindRune) is created by combining two or more ancient Viking Runes into a single symbol. What this combination is believed to do is create a more powerful Rune, than the individual Runes used to make it. Bind Runes were rare in Viking days; there are not many examples of the ancient Norse writing them. They became more common among the Scandinavian people later in the Middle Ages.
