Good product and burns for hours
Decent charcoal, make sure you have plenty of airflow and it will burn just fine and will burn for hours and maintain a good temperature for hours

Best I've ever used.
Superb long cook time 3plus hours and still giving off 300°f in a garden terracotta tandoor. Easily reach 1000°f after good nucleus is achieved. They come in 6" sticks approx and can be broken down to 3" with a masonry hacksaw or other, which is the ideal size to line the base of my tandoor.Always use a BBQ kettle to get them going with some wood pulp or regular firelighters strategically placed .Keep them touching one another to transfer the heat easily.Better still, give them a head start under a gas grill.Best I've ever used and hardly any ash to scoop up afterwards.Fantastic results, just needs a little patience and practice.

Burns ok but makes a mess
Really not impressed. The pellets lite well and burn hot, but the amount of soot they seem to give off makes a real mess. The smell is pretty unpleasant too, smells like Fred Dibnah's been past on his traction engine and not a lovely wood smoke smell.

No problems
used twice, once with duck breast once with steak . gives a heat that cooks not incinerates . Lasts a good while. It's not self lighting .you need to light a small wood fire underneath it to get it started. but you don't smoke out the street waiting for it to come up to temp, like self lighting or disposables.

Really impressed with this coal
The media could not be loaded. My first attempt at lighting it was pretty bad and i was regretting buying this coal. After some research on youtube i got some good tips and now i think it's the best coal I've ever used. The heat can last for hours on end with a glowing red colour if u can control the airflow.I use mine for my tandoor oven and its perfect for what i need. When it comes to lighting them it can be a bit tricky and can take forever if you are not doing it right. Best to sit them upright in a chimney starter with rolled up newspaper placed under them and a few natural fire lighters scattered around

Hot but very sooty
These pellets gave off a tremendous amount of soot. They did get the Ooni hot enough but left significant smuts and deposits inside and out. On the face of it they looked good value but I would not purchase them again, instead opting to pay more for cleaner burning pellets.

Avoid - damp pellets and spoilt food
Used for Ooni pizza oven within days of being delivered. Pellets let off potent smoke and left a tar like substance on oven which now can't be removed. The smoke spoilt food and left some feeling unwell. Would not recommend.
