Q: How to connect to BT hub 6 in uk

The instructions enable you to connect to any 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi (it can not use the 802.11ac standard) which is fine for the majority of Wi-Fi devices (including BT home hub). When you connect the bulb you install the app, you turn bulb on/off 3 times in 1 second intervals, the bulb flashes on/off, you choose add new device in the app. The app then asks about your Wi-Fi details (SSID/Password). Then it works.

Place the bulb in the socket and then using the wall switch turbo in on and off 5 times. It will take some attempts to do it but will enter setup mode

Q: Will this work with the new amazon echo show please

It will work with any Alexa device as its compatibility is with Amazon web services and not the actual Amazon device (echo..etc).

Q: I can’t connect cause my wifi is 5 ghz. can anyone help? failing that i’ll have to send it back. i’m a bit gutted

If you go into the routers admin and temporarily disable the 5ghz connection it will default to 2.4 while you set it up. Then re-enable 5 ghz, it will still see the 2.4 ghz connection
