Fantastic, comfy
Fantastic, comfy, supportive and durable shoes! I can say for sure that these are long lasting and well made as this will be my second pair, the first of which I walked miles in before I had to accept I needed new ones. Tried looking around for a shoe to match these in the shops but nothing quite compared to these!

My husband is delighted with his new Merrell Freewheel trainer. His last pair has some tread despite continual wear, but a new, smarter pair was necessary. A 'pretender' was trialled, but in the end this design has proven irreplaceable for comfort, smartness and reliability.

Great smart looking trainers
2nd pair for me. They are great for general shoes and also for casual business dress.They are made from suede material, so spray with a protector.The sole gives the heel a slight lift, so it doesn't induce Achilles tendon problems for me in comparison to some flat soled trainers (e.g. Converse) so I can wear them all day long without a problem.

Water Soluble
I bought these shoes for a trip to Florida this year. So I wore them pretty much every day for 14 days. They are comfortable and I didn't have to wear them in at all. Everything was fine until I was caught in the rain. The shoes lost their shape and were essentially ruined after a single rain storm.You expect that a company that makes hiking, and walking boots to consider water when they construct their shoes. Really disappointed.Haven't worn them since I got back as they're virtually destroyed. Works out at £5 a day for shoes.

No shape to the heels and they slip.
Nice fit around the toes but the heel counter (rear of heel) slips up and down while walking.This is the second pair of Merrells that are like this, so no more for me. I have a pair from two years ago that are beauts, so what has happened. ?...EDIT to add 5th April 2017...I have changed my view somewhat of these as the heels still slip a tad and I have to tie the laces tighter than I would like but they are more comfy now than they were, and I wear them much more. they do look nice.

Excellent shoe, I had Timberlands before, but the is better. Great fit and better craftsmanship than Timberlands. I will buy one more pair maybe digferent style, but definatelly hands down for Merrel. I hope they will keep the quality in this competetive market.

Great pair of shoes
I'm Usually a trainer size uk 12, but needed 11s of these, very comfy and match the photos well.
