Item received and fitted fine only issue is that all the pictures show a white holder but one received was black. Otherwise fine.

I ordered these as the holder on one of my lamps had broken and these were nearly identical. The wire fitting into these is by pushing the bared wire into a clip and the clip grips the wire so it cannot be pulled out. Where these fall down is for holding the lamp shade on. There is one threaded ring on the body but nothing on the body to screw the ring against to hold the shade firmly. There either needs to be a solid moulding for the shade to rest against or another ring so there is one each side of the shade mount. You cannot hold a shade securely in place with a single ring.
