Alba Botanica151784 Facial Mask, Papaya Enzyme 3 oz

I'm not sure if this is what I needed. It is not a clay mask so if you want to avoid that this could be perfect for you as it is clear. I left it on for ten minutes or so and it never completely dried out. I have very sensitive skin and rosacea and this was safe to use for me.

I’ve been using this mask for several years. My skin really loves it. It has a cooling sensation. Leaves my skin super smooth & happy. It really does work to minimize pores. Even my wrinkles (I’m 58) are less noticeable after using it. I’ve used a countless number of masks over the years & this is my favorite.

One of my fav masks! I've been using it for years and it really makes my skin look & feel freshened. The directions say to leave it on just 5 min. I usually leave it on 15-20. It's probably fine either way. My skin is somewhat sensitive and tends toward redness but this never causes any problems.I've used some products with fruit acids that really stung and almost burned my face so I'm very careful about what I use. This is soothing and freshening - no stinging or burning at all.Scent is also something I'm sensitive to. I hate when things are perfumed . This is very lightly scented. I just checked the scent because I couldn't remember if it had a scent at all. I nearly had to stick my whole nose in the jar but it's a nice, light, fresh smell. I really like it!

Nothing to get excited about on this, applies easily, leave on for 5 minutes and rinse. Does have a slight acidic burn when first applied, guessing from the pineapple extract. Skin does feel cleansed and smoother after use. I use it every now and then, but not my go to.

I had dry skin on my face from the cold weather. This helped with that. It stung a tad for a minute or so after application each time I have used it (twice so far). My husband didn’t have the same experience. Just a cooling sensation. I think this was a good buy, especially on sale. And I will keep it as part of my routine. I really like products by Alba.

Very kind on the eyes...no irritation while it's on. Much better than a harsh gritty exfoliator that never seems to rinse cleanly.

I really like this. It leaves my skin smooth and, although, I can feel the tingle, it works for my sensitive skin. It has a nice smell too.

Love it! Didn't want to spend the money for Jan Marini enzyme mask so tried this one and really like it! I leave it on for more like 20 mins or more though. Makes skin soft and hydrated. Its a gentle mask and is supposed to be used with a complete skincare routine. If you haven't used enzme masks before start with 5 mins.

This is a very gently enzyme based mask that I alternate with more traditional clay masks. It's a very pretty light green gel that you smooth over your face and remains moist - I like it because it's the perfect pick me up that you leave on for 5 mins and wash off easily (with mud masks it can get a bit messy).During the mask, there is a slight tingling feeling, it's not unpleasant but it's not as refreshing as a normal clay mask; however, overall I love this as an alternate option that enzyme based. I haven't noticed any significant difference to my skin but still enjoy it nonetheless - I feel like with the additional exfoliation, the products I put on afterwards to absorb a bit better and love that wonderful fruity smell!

Love it. It has a fruity smell and my face tingles on application. After I wash it off, i am left with a smooth and brighter face. I have left it longer on my face than the suggested 5 mins and haven’t has any problems but I don’t have sensitive skin and I used to having acids on my face.

I love the enzyme exfoliating masks from Elemis and Philosophy and thought I'd give this one a try. It is amazing! The first mask I did (after not doing a treatment for a couple of weeks) removed my dead skin so easily I could see it when it wiped away. So gross but so satisfying. I have used this pot up and will purchase again over the higher end brands. I have sensitive skin and this peel didn't stress it out at all.

I loved EVERYTHING about this mask and smells so good you definitely feel a tingle though it's bearable. Going to definitely try more things within this product line hope there as good as this mask!
