These are perfect. I use them for ammo cases and they fit great and are easy to use. They are not TSA locks. I had small TSA locks for luggage and they weren’t very sturdy and were small. The Texas lock is large so the controls are easy to see and rotate. If I have another application for these I will certainly buy more.

I bought the Texas Best padlocks so I could transport a weapon to my son in Texas in a locked hard case. They arrived in two days. The quality is better than any I've come across in my 50+ years. Not only will they do the job, they look great and will be a nice gift to go with what's inside the box they will be securing.

The instructions on how to set your own combination on these locks must take a rocket scientist as I cannot figure out what to do. No instructions came inside the cute box. Love the locks and the box, but need to figure out how to get them to work.

I have a LOT of padlocks. So far these are easy to reset, move freely, and lock securely. I like that you can view the numbers from the side and end. That way if your lock is in a tight spot where you can’t turn it you don’t have to perform gymnastics to unlock it. Just need to remember they the combination on the side is 2 numbers behind the one on the front.

Horrible lock. 1 stopped working after 6 days so I had to use a hammer to break it open. Took one hit and it fell apart. Also, when u put the combination in it unlocks it. But u cant lock it unless the combination is still set. So I use it for my fence. I unlock it and I spin it it won’t lock till I set the combination again. The fear is if I forget to spin it and someone sees the combination they will know it but if I do spin it I have the added step of reentering the combo to lock it. Poor design and weak lock. I’d return it if I didn’t break it open.

These are great little locks, and we use them for the gym and our backpacks. No, they are not heavy duty, so I would not use them on something super valuable, but they get the job done and are easy to carry. I ordered two and then promptly ordered two more, because they work so well. Easy to set up with your code, too.

These are good locks. They set nicely and have never had an issuse. The feel alittle on the lightweight side but are sufficient for my needs.
