UPF 50+ UV Protection Travel Umbrella Ultra Light Weight

I originally bought this because I coach track and field. I had spent one season roasting and was determined not to let it happen again. So I bought this handy dandy little thing and it changed my life! At first, people laughed and called me a vampire, but after a while, they wanted to know where I bought it.It was superb for the hot and sunny days and even did the job during the rainy meets. Every kid wanted to crowd under it, and while they loved being able to take advantage of the shade, were too embarrassed to buy one for themselves. I also invested in a large golf umbrella of the same style so that more people could benefit.Anyway, I’ve traveled with this in my backpack on airplanes, ferries, sightseeing, or even walking to the store from the parking lot. Sun? No problem. Rain? No problem. Wind? It’s not inverted on me but it has felt like it wanted to fly out of my hand. But that’s what the wrist strap is for.I MAY leave it in the car during the winter, but this is definitely a 3 season item you should have on your person. Sun damage is real. Heat exhaustion is real. And those are the main reasons for my purchase, but it works in the rain too and fits in most purses and backpacks. It also weighs next to nothing.If your child plays outdoor sports, buy this. Your skin will thank you!

The best works in the sun don't even mention when it's windy can withstand the breeze

Buy the umbrella. Seriously. Just do it. I know it’s more expensive than the other options. I know it’s hard to believe the hype. But please trust me.I am SO pale, and I somehow seem to get burnt by even the slightest sun exposure. But I love music festivals, and I was so sick of being stuck under our shade canopy during peak sun hours. I’ve tried the UPF clothing, tons of different sun hats, and just about every sunscreen available for purchase in the US. This umbrella is an absolute game changer. Yes it really blocks the sun better than a normal umbrella. And yes, it does actually keep the area underneath it noticeably cooler. My partner was so jealous that I was 15 degrees cooler underneath it that he ordered one too.

Good product

These umbrellas were bought specifically Disney to protect us from the sun. But never had to use them because it was cloudy most the time. The open and shut of these handy tools were easy. So I was wanting to test them out. Maybe next time?

Brought with me on a trip to Egypt where we were sightseeing in 112 degrees. Having this with me was a lifesaver. It’s portable, opened and closed reliably and lightweight to carry in my small backpack. I’m sure I will use it again!

I live in the Middle East and with the temperatures and daily sun this umbrella keeps me from overheating when I walk to the gym and back. Despite the light structure it’s pretty sturdy. I just wish the top was black as the silver stands out a bit much to my liking
