BB2 Baby One Size Printed Minky Minkee Snaps Cloth Diaper Cover for Prefolds

The minky on these covers is so soft, it is a shame they are made so poorly because they were the only minky covers I could find. They used the same minky fabric on the inside of the diaper to reenforce the snaps and make a tummy panel making this cover a 1 use only cover because it can not be wiped clean. I’m considering cutting out the tummy panel and around all of the snaps to try and salvage them because I love minky so much. If that doesn’t work I’ll return. If the company sees this review I hope they change their practice and only reenforce the snaps inside with normal pul that can be wiped between uses.

I ordered four of these, in different prints. The puppy and elephant prints had reinforced snaps and were slightly bigger than the fluffy dragon diaper covers I have, which is great because I use bulky overnight fitteds during the day for my heavy wetter. The "farm print" and zoo animals did not have reinforced snaps, so I messaged the seller to try to work it out with them. I did not get a reply after several days, so I went through Amazon to get a refund for them.The second thing you need to know is that the farm print is actually zoo animals, unless monkeys and lions live on farms now....and I know it was the correct diaper because it had a label on the package.I would totally buy these again, since I love the soft minky and the leg gussets and the fit over the bulky fitteds i have, but beware of the reinforcement not being there, and snaps pulling through easily.

Both of my kids were cloth diapered and both reached 100th percentile for height and weight. My daughter outgrew her SunBaby pockets by her first birthday and SunBaby leaked with my son. I considered giving up on cloth but decided to try covers. I got 3 different brands and these were by far the best. Which is odd because they were also the cheapest! In this case, you get far more than you pay for. High quality double gussets, no premium for minky, and HUGE. They snap down JUST as small as the other brands but on the biggest setting will easily accommodate 40lbs! I even put one on my 3 year old just to see if it would fit. You can not beat the size range for this price. Other diapers that come in L and XL are $25-40 each. $7-8 is a STEAL.And I've never had a leak. Never had a snap break. Never had a seam come loose. NO complaints. I have over a dozen of these covers and have for over a year. Still my favorite.I use them with See Diapers bamboo charcoal fleece inserts, gusseted. With Thirstiest hemp doublers for overnight.Update: I'm not using these covers with my THIRD baby and they are just as good as the day I bought them. In fact, I have gotten a few new ones and they are made even better than my old ones from 2 years ago.

Overall, I honestly think old-fashioned plastic pants (nylon, these days, I guess) are easiest to use. But these are cute and will surely last a lot longer than plastic pants. But they also cost a great deal more.These feel like cloth on the outside, but have a rubbery feel on the inside. The perplexing multitude of snaps on the outside are a bit challenging to figure out at first. You snap the cover down to a small size at first, then unsnap it to adjust the size as baby grows.I find the snaps to be very secure, so much so that I had a tiny struggle to undo them.Also, it's hard to hold the diaper in the cover in such a way as to be sure to have cloth between baby's skin and the rubbery-feeling inside. I suspect that if baby wets the diaper thoroughly and doesn't have cloth protecting his skin, that rubbery stuff could cause chafing when wet. The best way I've found to use these things is to pin the diaper on, then wrap the cover around.This is a good, quality product that will last through the diapering years of several children.

I personally love this diaper and I LOVE that it runs a little big (I'll be able to use it longer on my chunky kid)! However, we have a LOT of diapers, and this one doesn't exactly conform to the 'industry' norm. I don't know if there are standards, but the rise on this as well as the leg openings seem to go higher up on baby.Usually leg openings fit my baby snugly which makes me nervous he's stretching them out (and of course our next child will probably be tiny and I'll have to re-elastic everything, ha). But he loves this diaper, so I'll definitely be purchasing more. Just wanted others to be aware because it's irritating to get a different fit than expected. It can also be a pleasant unexpected surprise, in my case. ;) The minky is SO soft, even though we've only used this diaper about 5 times (without prepping, I usually don't prep my diaper covers and haven't had problems). The print is adorable and pretty clear, considering the texture of the super soft fabric.

So bought this as a test run because I love bububibi. The brand is amazing for my big babies. Anyway can I just say.. minky where have you been all my life?Minimal leaks, double gussets, cuteness to the max, and soooo soft! Gonna buy two more with my regular because I can’t stop rubbing my cute babies bum in these! I mean who doesn’t love their babies in soft minky blankets? Just the same but with diapers! I feel sorry for the disposable diaper mommas. They will never know how sweet this is.Anyway long story short buy them they are a dream for big babies. Bububibi lasts too. I have none minky covers from this brand that are 2 years old and still work amazingly on my 3month old.
