Really authoritative and carefully researched book that provides fresh insight into the biggest band in the world. A unique perspective on both the Beatles story and Ringos colourful life.

Interesting read about the least interesting of the Fab Four. Interesting to read about the period when Ringo couldn’t give an album away.

Really enjoying this book, about halfway through, always look forward to picking it up again. Nice to get Ringo's point of view from the beginning when he joined The Beatles, I had no idea he felt like an outsider ( most of us didn't know The Beatles with Pete Best, so Ringo was as much a Beatle as John, Paul, and George! What a shame he felt that way ). Great book, definitely recommend it to Beatle fans!

Interesting on his early life, but it got bogged down with th Beatles

A really interesting read...just a shame that Ringo himself chose not to co-operate with the author...but you can't have everything!

I've enjoyed listening to this and there are many interesting insights into Ringo's and The Beatles' story. Oddly, when the narrator quotes a member of the band he seems to do an Irish accent, nothing like scouse , but fortunately it makes me laugh every time, so I see that as a bonus.
