Sling Lift Blessing
When our old doggie Zoey started to seriously decline, more and more unable to use her hind legs, I purchased this sling lift. It was a true blessing, helping us to get her outside to use the potty and enjoy just being in the backyard. I haven't written a review until now because our daughter was working a third-party fulfillment job thru Amazon, and she was concerned about negative repercussions. Well, that gig is over, and I can finally write a review. I loved this product. It worked great, was easy to strap on, and washable. There were different sizes that you should make sure to check for your best friend. Over time, ours started to bunch up a little which makes sense. Our dearest Zoey passed away and the sling was no longer needed. But if I needed another down the road, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another one.

Makes assisting my saint so much easier
This was so much easier to use than I expected. The material is very durable and the stitching is great quality.

easy to use for quick lift assist
My dog is 35 lbs and needs an assist with walking up and down stairs due to a leg and back injury. I tried a few hardnesses and sling type lifts to find something to assist without interference. This sling works well for lifting or otherwise supporting his rear end, and is true to size (Size M fit my dog's 23" waist.) it is well made although does seem slightly overpriced for what it is.The only issue I have with this sling is with convenience, and that is totally related to my dog's anatomy and measurements. When I position the sling where it needs to be to lift his back end he cannot urinate (penis sheath is covered). So in general, I put on the sling, help him downstairs, take if off for our walk, and then put it back on to help him up stairs. This is a slight inconvenience, and the dog does not feel well so he is tired of being handled and does not always cooperate with this on-and-off business.I will say that there is enough 'play' in the fit that I can position the sling higher up his body (toward his chest) and that positioning uncovers his penis for urination. When I do this, I am not able to provide the lift support where it is needed. I truly do not know how one could make a sling for the back end lift that would not cover his male parts.I am keeping this because overall I like it and it is useful although not ideal. It certainly offers a quick on-off and is easy to position. In terms of harnesses that have less on-and-off action, the Rabbitgoo has provided the best fit for a dog with narrow shoulders and waist and barrel chest.

Probably not the best for a long, low dog...
First of all, I commend this company for their product and their customer contact! The overall construction of the product is nice and I have no doubt that many people will find this sling helpful as a mobility aid for their pups. Unfortunately for us, it has not been any different from using a large towel or sheet - actually its probably not as helpful as either of those for a couple of reasons... Based on the sizing info (weight range), I ordered the medium for my 25 lb. corgi girl who is having issues with her hind legs. It works well enough for very short jaunts outside for bathroom breaks but other than that it really does bunch terribly (as others have stated), and it DOES slide out of position quite easily (unlike the wider towel or sheet). It's also huge on her (circumference - wise)! I was kind of expecting it to hold form like shown in the advertising picture, but for a dog who is long and low like mine, that ain't gonna happen. The adjustable handles do let me use the sling with her without murdering my back (which is AWESOME), but I think this is where the problem lies: having to fully support her rear end from that high above her seems to cause the bunching; her body shape definitely lends to the sliding. Maybe if the medium was wider it would work better for us? So, for us, it's just OK. I will hold onto it and use it in a pinch, but it really isn't the best product for us. :(

Definitely helps
My poor puppy broker her femur last week and this is definitely helping her get around and catch her if she missteps after the surgery she had to have. Very easy to put on and take off. No issues with her using it to go out and potty. Soft and not super irritating as far as we can tell (She's been very vocal about her pain thankfully). Only issue is being a little concerned about it coming undone, but since it comes together above instead of below, it's not super concerning.

Lifesaver for an older dog!
Our dog, Gabbie, is a 16 year old German Shepherd. She has pretty severe arthritis in her spine - her back legs are so wobbly. The Labra K9 Sling has helped us so much with being able to get her safely outside to do her business! This is the first time that Gabbie has lived in an apartment - we've always had houses and yard - job brings us to the big city and apartment dwelling. The Labra Sling helps us keep her mobile and safe. Customer service is fabulous - Noah the owner of Labra emailed me to check if the sling fit; I described to him how it fit her and he thought she needed the larger size. Sent it right out, and told me to donate the one that didn't fit to a shelter. I've never had such wonderful customer service! The Sling is quality material, lightweight, and does not bother Gabbie at all - and she's pretty sensitive about things with her back and back legs these days. It has helped us so much. If you are hesitating about purchasing this product - don't. You will not regret it, especially if you have a larger dog. So much more comfortable for them than someone trying to hoist their backend up when they can't get up themselves, and steadies when walking. Can't say enough great things about the Labra K9 Sling!!

Perfect for helping our senior golden retriever on stairs
Our healthy 13 year old golden suddenly came down with vestibular disease (vertigo). After a stay at our vet hospital and some work she is walking fairly well. We use the sling to help her get down our staircase as she can still fall. Perfect!

Good product and well made. Beware of sizing
Ordered the large but was not big enough to fasten. Still usable as a sling
