Good product for the price
The poles that hold this together are the flimsy poles you see used with pop-up tents. I don't know how they will hold up.With that said, the net is sturdy and the pitching machine ( sold separately ) worls great. When setting it up, make sure the netting isn't inside out, or you will have to flip it to attach the pitching machine. If you plan on pitching to an older kid or use it for catching practice, but two and add them together

Nice backyard cage for the price
This is a nice backyard batting cage for the price. The design of ground stakes and tent poles makes it easy to install and take down in bad weather. Also the minimum footing of the stakes will not kill grass. The net is a 2 person job and can be a bit tricky to get over the poles at first. In order to provide more stability, I did have to get a roll of cord and more tent stakes for the ends, to create more tension so the net wouldn't sag too much. The height(8ft at center) and width(12ft) as well as the 22ft length gave enough room and ball flight feedback to satisfy my son, who is 5'9". This cage would be more than enough for younger children. I was able to fit a pitching net inside for some live throw practice as well as using the tee.The net is not commercial batting cage caliber. It holds up well, but already has 2 areas of tear that lets a baseball through when hit into that area. However, it seems mostly adequate enough for home use. A suggestion would be to clip up a section of the bottom to leave exiting room when not in use. An unfortunate bird got into then got tangled up trying to find a way out on one occasion. Also bigger kids like mine need to center themselves due to the dome tent like shape only allows the center to 8ft in height and the bat would strike the net in follow through if not centered.

Not a bad product for the price
Not a bad product for the price. Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 14 year old to do T work with. By myself I was able to set the entire net up in about a hour. The directions we a bit vague but not to hard to follow. It did take some time to make all the final tension adjustments to the lines in order to keep the net taught but I expected that to be the case. By the time I was done the net stayed very firm and gave very little movement when the ball hit it. My son is super excited to have it and I am very pleased with the overall product. However, please note that you should not hammer the ground stakes directly into the ground. The rubber insert that the poles mount into cannot withstand the direct force of a hit with a hammer. You may wish to consider taking a 2 x 4 piece of wood and using that as a buffer instead.Note: The system I received was slightly different than the one shown in the pictures. The net has to be draped over the poles not hung from underneath with eyelets as shown in the pictures. Also, there are 7 eyelets in the poles for guide lines for the net but the instructions only show 4, likewise, only enough lines was provided for 4. Not sure what the other 3 were supposed to be for. I did use my own tie line to run another guide line through the top eyelets to prevent the net from possible sagging. I will let it sit for a few days to let it stretch a bit and them make some further adjustments. I anticipate adding an additional stake to the top center as added support.

Batting cage
The cage is small. Works with a heater jr pitching machine ok. But you can’t use it for anything else do to the size. I wish I didn’t buy it. Now it’s started ripping holes in the netting. This is a complete nightmare. 2 days after the return date expired! Don’t buy this! This is garbage! I will be writing to the company explaining how junk it is!!! Lame! Wasted $200!

The fiberglass poles snap easily
The fiberglass poles snap easily. We had it for about 1.5 or so years, put it up during baseball season and then the 2nd time we got it out of, set it up and then about a week or so later a pole randomly snapped. I gave it a 2 star versus a 3 star because customer service is pretty responsive and buying a replacement pole is 7 dollars each, so it can add up. It might be prudent to look into more expanse studier models, those pole costs could add up.

Broke within a couple hours without even using, poor customer service
This was relatively easy, albeit time consuming to set up. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. When I set it up, it looked great and we were very excited to use it. Unfortunately a weld broke off of one of the rods before we even had a chance to get my son's pitching machine set up. This caused most of one of the ends to collapse, which bent several other rods and a couple of the spikes in the ground. I contacted customer service and they were fast to respond. I asked to send the whole thing back because I was nervous that more welds would fail in the near future since one failed within the first couple hours. They offered to send me a whole new unit, so I agreed to keep it thinking I'd have several backups if multiple rods failed again. A couple days later I got a single rod in the mail. When I asked the seller again about it, they would not fulfill their original promise, so I'm sending the entire thing back. I would not recommend this product as the quality is subpar and their customer service is disorganized and dishonest. My son was CRUSHED that he didn't get to use this thing, need to find an alternative now and go through all the hassle of boxing this thing up and shipping it back. So very disappointed.

Hard to beat for the price
I put 2 kits together to make it over 40’. Install is pretty simple but an extra set of hands to put the net up is almost a must. The string provided is kind cheap junk and I’ve replaced almost all of it with inexpensive para cord. I have had mine up for a year and half without taking it down, it’s sustained Texas heat and really high winds. It just broke its first pole a week ago. Another thing I added was a 100’ construction light cord, kids play in it during the winter season. I live in a pretty strict hoa and have had no issues with it being up.
