Happy camper
Bought this as I didn’t want to use one of those awful disposable barbys on a recent trip to Center Parcs. The main reason I chose this was that it has 3 cooking heights where most of the other portables just have the one. This allows much longer cooking times and results in less overcooking. It’s very well made and simple to put up and down. I’d noticed on the ‘cheaper’ portables (which I class this as) that the grate looked a bit light and flimsy. Not on this barby though - its a proper stainless one like you get on a Weber etc.I cooked for 4 adults and 2 nippers and the grill coped well with food of varying fat content - sausages, burgers and chicken kebabs with very few flare-ups and no burning of the food. The grate is a doddle to move up and down and there was very little deformation of the metal due to the heat of the coals and weight of the food. I used one bag of self-lighting coals which was perfect for the length of cook. Very easy to clean up afterwards and there’s enough room to store my utensils in the case that it folds up into.Overall I’m glad I bought this over one of the many sub-£25 models. It’s built to last, easy to cook on and folds up nice and small. I’ll certainly use it at home too as it’s the perfect size for a spur of the moment cook.

Awesome BBQ for camping
Love this BBQ. Been on three camping trips since buying it and it's already been used loads. It's well made, compact and so easy to use.I've been using the individual bags of charcoal where you light the four corners of the bag. They're the perfect size for this BBQ and keep the whole process extremely simple. All the parts of the BBQ fit together easily and this gives you a solid cooking platform if assembled correctly. Once finished using it the side panels and grill stow inside the body, the lid folds down and the legs fold in underneath. It even has a carrying handle and I keep mine in the manufacturer's cardboard box it comes in.I've no idea how a couple of users have had issues with this BBQ, really makes you wonder about people. One reviewer mentions it's too small for a large group. It's made to be portable and the dimensions are clearly stated in the description! You can't mark it down for that, the reviewer needs to be marked down for their stupidity for not reading the description. 13 of us recently took this and a friend's smaller BBQ away camping and it coped admirably. Practically everyone remarked on how impressed they were by it.It is not flimsy as another wrote but I guess that depends on what you're comparing it to. I've got an expensive Weber Genesis gas BBQ at home, so obviously this portable BBQ isn't going to be up to that standard, but I actually prefer this one for its simplicity. For camping I think you'd struggle to find a better BBQ.

Fantastic Little barbeque
Exactly what I expected. The adjustable cooking height is brilliant. Easy to assemble in 2 min. Very hot for cooking. Sturdy and a perfect height for camp barbeque for up to about 6 people. Packs away easy for the next camping trip. Love it.

Great for the price!
Nice little kit. Packs up into a briefcase which is light enough to carry comfortably. Easy to put together and take apart. Works great for cooking with adjustable height for the grills and large area. That said, it is about as well built as most bbqs! Poorly finished powercoated mild steel with sharp edges. The legs are particularly basic and I expect these will be the first thing to fail. Mine also arrived with dents in it, but cosmetic only and I couldn't be bothered to send it back. They always get battered (and literally set on fire..) so it does the job!I was tempted by the 'Kenluck' ones but they were difficult to get hold of - perhaps try one of those if you're worries about longevity, they are stainless steel and look better made.

Good product
It is a good product. Of course, it loses its charm after a few uses because it's a thin metal. But still we are happy with it after 6 months of occasional usage (2-3 times a month). The nice thing is it folds nicely, so you can easily put it in a car.

Solid little barbecue
We upgraded to the Ferraboli from one of the cheaper brands. This barbecue is far more sturdy than those and doesn't threaten to sever a finger or limb on the sharp metal every time you touch it. It is a good, accessible height, and the wind guard is great for stopping the breeze as well as giving a variable grill height. All in all, well worth the extra cost and weight!

Utter disappointment.
A good design and the height and fold away size was just what we wanted for storing in our caravan exterior locker but regrettably the paint finish both interior and exterior is unacceptable and has exposed bare metal on the outside which makes it susceptible to rust early in its life. Very disappointed and is being returned.

Cracking little BBQ
Bought this in April and have only just got around to using it. Wanted a small and compact BBQ (as we have limited patio space) and to take with us for days out and trips away. I have to say it was great. Easy to assemble, took a couple of minutes and we were away. Big and sturdy enough to fit a cast iron skillet. Heat is easily controlled by moving the grill up and down, has 3 settings. Had no issues with the paint flaking off the sides or anything is holding up well so far. Have only used the bags of charcoal that you light and let burn down as they are the pergect size and amount for this BBQ. Easy to clean and disassemble once cooled. Would recommend for anyone who has a small garden, is keen on camping, or enjoys days out at the beach.
