In use for post surgical rehab (acl) to strengthen quad muscle.Item is great, seller great communication when I thought I needed to return and offered refund which I then didn’t need.Definitely improving muscle atrophy. Found instructions very technical and no details of where to place pads for quad so had to ask a physio. See picture. Red ones at bottom of quad muscle, black at top, and placement of black ones lower than booklet describes. Using program 13. Broken into 5 phases, phase 1 is not active, phases 2-5 Tense the quad hard when the pulses go then rest when pulse die.Hope this helps someone!

Although many of the reviews for this device say it's great for animals we had it recommended to us by a physiotherapist for help with a leg injury not easily treated with physio. Well after following the instructions from our physio - using for 30 mins, 5 days a week, for 2 weeks, it has shown a vast improvement. The usage is now to be gradually reduced to nil but with the "safety net" of taking it on holiday if such an injury recurs. A great healing device which has been used to great benefit, and an investment for the future. Highly recommend.

Invaluable during recuperation of tendon injury. Able to keep and even build important supporting knee muscles (in particular Vastus Medialis) while leg imobilised. Recovery unquestionably faster and safer than it would have been without. Highly recommended for such a situation.

It worked for about a month and now doesn't work at all. The product is useless

Prompt delivery and appears to be doing the job. Advised to get device by my surgeon following foot/ ankle surgery. Early days yet though.
