Porseme 150ml Handmade Essential Oil Diffuser 6H Runtime

I feel like all you hear about now are diffusers and essential oils. They are so popular and while I understand the hype, I pawned most of it off as a fad. I would look at diffusers but didn't really think they looked like anything worth displaying in my house. Then I came across this gorgeous glass diffuser. I felt like it was reasonably priced and worth the investment to try it out. If nothing else, I would have a cool night light! HA! WELL, I am so glad I bought this diffuser! Yes, I suppose it could be a night light as you don't have to turn on the diffuser part. So the oils, I think the booklet said 2-3 drops of essential oils. I started with that, but I felt like the scent wasn't strong enough for me. I have it in a room with taller ceilings and I am wondering if that could be why. I added a few more drops and I am much happier with the scent. I also bought a sampler of essential oils and I mainly use lavender so I feel like thats a lighter scent anyway. As for the colors, I have three favorite settings. While my kids like them all! My favorite is this pretty pinkish, blue, and then the multi color change one. I didn't know I would like the color changing as much as I do, but its really quite fun. Plus like I said before, the kids love that one the best. As a super busy mom (aren't we all busy?!) I have also on more than one occasion used the timer setting. I can forget to cut it off (which I have done multiple times) then when I came back I realized the diffuser cut off on its own! Another one of those features I read about and didn't know I would actually use! It is extremely easy to use especially for this diffuser newbie! I am happy I jumped on the band wagon and I really appreciate it doesn't have some cheap plastic look. I think I see more diffusers in my future now that I know what In like!

Let me just say right out that I love this device! I have never owned a diffuser before, and only looked for one after reading a book that described the therapeutic properties of certain essential oils. When I received it, I was relieved to find how easy it was to set up, operate, and clean, and from the first moment I turned it on, I was blown away by the changing light display. One word of recommendation: if the intent is to use this at night, I would select a single color rather than have the diffuser cycle through all of them (the default setting), because the varying light intensities of the different colors creates an effect not unlike an animated neon sign, which is not conducive to sleep! But a single color (I generally prefer the dark red) functions more like a night light and is not sleep-disrupting at all. (There is also an option to have no light at all.) However, if you are operating it during the daytime, and especially if you are showing it off to guests, then let it cycle through all of the colors, and enjoy the truly dazzling display. As far as the diffuser function itself, it does a great job. Regarding the time settings, while the device does always shut off automatically, I've noticed that when I set the device to the longest time - 3 hours - it sometimes runs much longer than that. I really don't mind this, as I am happy when it runs all night, but I thought it should be something to mention. In any case, I've really gotten hooked on this diffuser, and heartily recommend it.

Lordy, this is beautiful when lit up! Silent operation and works well. Ive seen something comparable in a sharper image catalog that was priced more than double. Love the wood look base. The copper color is nice but it is shiny rather than the matte finish you see in the pictures. I would love to see this offered in different finishes such as antiqued gold or a mercury glass and then I would purchase one for each room! Also, if you want to use this with a separate automatic timer to wake up to aromatherapy, it doesn't work because it has to be turned on by pressing the button. I've looked at the only two models I can find online that has that auto on feature which can be set to a clock time (not just a timer) with two compartments to use two different scents (for AM and PM) but they were pricey ($160- $190) and with mediocre reviews. (If anyone's interested in looking them up, they are Aromatime Ultrasonic Diffuser at saje.com and Lumie Body Clock Iris 500 on amazon UK). Once they work out the glitches, I would reconsider and if they redesigned them to look as beautiful as this beauty, its a slam dunk for me. (One more thing, in case a product designer combs these reviews to make improvements for the next design, I suggest the wood base color to be dark like walnut when paired with the copper color orb or at least offer different color combinations of wood base and glass orbs as an upgrade option.)

Purchased as a gift for my sister. She loves it. It changes colors when lite. We purchased the Orange blossom esential oil. The oil is a perfect companion if you like that scent.

Originally bought this for my office, but it was tooo nice not to bring home with me! Even my boyfriend loves it- his favorite color is green. Mine is the Pink. I use lavender essential oils and it helps take out the food smell after dinner. One of the best $40 purchases I think I have ever made !
