I make this lovely bunting of the English countryside in summer and autumn from discarded copies of the smaller version of the gorgeous 1906 book, The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady and the Birthday book based on it. The book was written and illustrated by Edith Holden and records the plants and animals that she saw around her in Warwickshire where she lived. A fabulous eco friendly present for a lover of the countryside in general, and a very pretty garland for a summer orwinter wedding, anniversary party or tea party. Alternatively it would be a lovely enhancement to a bookshelf, bedroom wall or living room!
