It's great - you just need to understand a few things.
I don't hand out 5 stars very often. And I even understand why many people give this less or even just 1 star.So first, what needs to be made clear is, this thing is basically a hand-pumped squirt bottle. That simple!Or you can think of it as little a child's squirt water gun, with a much better nozzle.Since it depends on your own strength to press the trigger/pump, if you don't have the strength to press it hard, it is not going to be very impressive. It does take a little strength. Some might get better result if instead of using their thumb they grab the whole shaft and trigger/pump in their palm, and squeeze.Pros:- Easy to use, doesn't even need instructions.- It is small and light- No batteries to fail.- No cords to deal with.Cons:- A person's strength dictates the pressure. Now for the points. I plan to use this while travelling, both for flossing, and for sinus cleaning.I'm modifying mine to make this super easy. I'm throwing away the blue screw-on reservoir container.I'm then going to take a standard plastic water bottle cap and cut a hole in the top exactly the size off the white tube that pulls the water. I will hot-glue this up inside the handle. Then I will add a little extender tube so it can reach the bottom of most disposable water bottles.Presto!I want clean filtered water for nasal anyway. Saline is cheap in most places (Asia sells it ready to go in 2-litre bottle for like $1 So now I have a device that is super small, and enured to be very clean.

Great flosser
So far this works great. The reservoir is bigger, the button easy to push and it doesn't leak. Recommend if you have sensitive gums and can't use a regular waterpik.

Very functional, good for teeth maintenance. Wish the product was available long time ago.
Typical water jets are electrical, which means batteries or wires, making the devices awkward to carry. For me, the tubing connected to the nozzle was tricky to position during use. Uncontrollable water pressure can be dangerous to the gums.I also have a water jet that connects to a faucet, allowing the user to adjust the temperature and pressure. However, the nozzle direction/position is also difficult to control. Adjusting temperature and pressure (including on-off) are even trickier. In both types, splashing of water is often unavoidable and annoying. This "Portable Care Liquid Flosser" is easy to use, allows selected water temperature, effective in tooth cleaning:Nozzle position can be easily adjusted.User has full control over the pressure.Allows constant warm water temperature (after the room temp portion that can be purged)Elderly people with dental difficulties will appreciate more.Additional benefits:The unit can remove food debris. It can be easily carried to the office or hotel.I would recommend this product.

Worthless!
There is NO power in the stream of water, probably less pressure than a squirt gun. Its a great idea, if it worked, which it doesn't. I wasted my money.

A bit flimsy
The item produces a very nice water jet which is strong enough for cleaning between the teeth and between the tooth and the gum. The water reservoir is large enough for a whole round of cleaning the whole mouth. Unfortunately the main nozzle does not fit in a secure manner to the device causing it to wobble and eventually disconnect.

Travel size
Nice small/travel size...Easy to use yet very little pressure

GREAT PRODUCT
I purchased this item for travel to Europe. It works like a dream. The water stream is powered by a push button and is gentle yet effective in water flossing. I am writing this review bc I read others that were disparaging about the product and I wanted to offer to others looking for a product such as this that it is worth the price.

Worked great for my earwax problem.
I went to the Doctor for an excessive earwax problem. I couldn't hear out of 1 ear. He used a device similar to a water pik with warm water to wash away the earwax. He also charged me $100.00. So instead of going to the doctor I put some olive oil in my ear one day to soften up the earwax, and washed it out with warm water and this device. It is thumb powered so you get the right amount of water pressure. Works great.
