Surprisingly one of my best watches
I've had this watch for about a year now. I couldn't be happier with this watch. Amazing build quality, looks amazing and actually looks better in person, I get a lot of compliments wearing it, very durable (I play volleyball, flag football, and travelled wearing it), and the power reserve is amazing. I like to wear different watches based on the occasion. I've gone a week without wearing it and never had to worrying about recharging it.

Reeeeeally nice.
This my third G Shock and my favorite so far. It looks great and isn’t too big for my comparatively small wrist. The convenience of the Bluetooth connection cannot be overstated. Once paired to my phone, a simple push of a button syncs time and date and allows access to all functions. No more cycling through modes and pushing every button ten times in the correct order while standing on your head. I’m old. This pleases me. As does the solar charging. Solid feel but not clunky, sporty but classy, I dig it.

New watch
Easy to set up manually and very legible. But having issues with the app and completing it. Strap is just ling enough for my 8 inch wrist but feels & looks good.

Best all around watch
This is my favorite all around watch. It is a little bulky, but that is kind of the point. The solar and bluetooth connectivity makes sure that the watch is always accurate and powered. I wish there were more color options and I could get more... but if it aint tough solar, I am not getting it!

Buyer Beware - Casio refused warranty and blamed me
I’ve been a longtime Casio fan, but this experience has permanently changed my opinion of the brand. I bought a steel G-Shock on Amazon in August. After 56 days of normal wear, the band pin ripped out of the case, leaving a trough in the plastic so the strap couldn’t reattach — a total structural failure on a watch marketed as “indestructible.” I sent it to Casio expecting a warranty repair for what was clearly a material defect. Instead, they told me the case isn’t covered under warranty, and that I’d need to pay $80 for the repair. When I asked for escalation, they simply stopped responding — for over two weeks. When they finally did reply, Casio’s position was that the failure wasn’t covered because they don't warranty the case (which is insane for something that is supposed to be the toughest brand of watch) and the Amazon seller (“Direct Time”) isn’t an “authorized retailer.” The product was listed on Amazon as a new Casio watch. How is any normal buyer supposed to know which Amazon sellers are “authorized”? Casio’s message basically blames the customer for buying their product in good faith. At this point, Casio has both my watch and my money, and I’ve received nothing from them. There’s been no apology, no accountability, and no attempt to make things right. All of their communication has been terse to the point of being borderline rude. The way they treat their customers (especially customers of one of their premium products) is absolutely insane. I'm not giving them another penny, and I'll certainly never wear a Casio watch again. If you’re considering a G-Shock because you believe in their toughness and support, learn from my experience. Casio does not stand behind their products, and their warranty is meaningless when the company can simply blame the retailer or the customer. I will be getting rid of anything in my house with the Casio name on it and telling anyone who will listen.
