A triumph….
There are numerous other books on the works of Carlo Scarpa but this one stands out for including his lesser known works which whilst not necessarily masterpieces are all stamped with his hallmark personality and inventiveness. However for me the real joy of this tome is the photography - which somehow captures the actual spirit of Scarpa and his ingenious creations; and to a degree I’ve only ever seen so consistently with the works of Frank Lloyd Wright. Little wonder they were so admiring of each other.

The book is a summary of all Scarpa's work.
The book is great but it came damaged. How do I get a replacement copy?

A clearly laid out book about the work of a genius!
Documenting the layered and complex, yet simple vision in Scarpa’s work is challenging. In this book you gain a real sense his mastery at different scales!A must for any architect who cares about the built environment and what people actually feel in spaces.
