My dog is 16 1/2 years old. He is a rescue boy and has had many fears . I got him at 7 months old. He has always been very active and quite a jumper. He recently has began losing the ability to walk. His back legs are very weak and unstable and he seemed depressed that he couldn’t walk. I decided to take a chance and try this for my fearful friend. I was shocked to see that he wasn’t that scared to try this out. The first day we tried it and he was amazed that he could walk around just like he has without the weakness in his legs. I do think this wheelchair should have stabilizing straps. We had some WRAP IT stretchy storage straps. We use those along with this wheelchair. We put one at the chest and one at the hips. It makes him feel more secure. He walks around and grabs his toy and barks and has gotten his confidence back with this wheelchair. It’s amazing and I believe it will give him more quality time. Some people may think this won’t work but please give it a try. You will be amazed. My boy has learned how to use this day one. He can back up and turn around. He loves it. He perks up immediately once we put him into it. I hope any of you on the fence will give this a try. Trust me your dog is never too old for this. I have a paralyzed frenchy and he is way too big for this at #25. It's cheap but decent. The seller seems very concerned about the product and wanting to improve it. I appreciate that.

Because of the many settings, I was able to achieve a tailored fit for him, which I believe was a significant factor in his comfort. I really like how customizable it is. The materials that were utilized to construct the wheelchair seem to be of high quality, and the wheels that are designed for heavy-duty usage perform very well. Due to the fact that Buster enjoys exploring the backyard, it is wonderful that they are able to manage both grassy and paved terrain. In spite of the fact that Buster first seemed uncertain, he began to get used to it after a number of days, and he was soon able to move about the home in the same manner that he had been able to before his condition. According to my opinion, the adjustable straps and supportive harness provide a tremendous deal of support without being either constrictive or very tight. It is the wheelchair that allows him to maintain his equilibrium while still providing him with the appropriate level of independence. For me, it has been such a pleasant experience to see him walk with confidence once again, with his tail wagging.

I don’t understand these positive reviews. I genuinely wanted this wheelchair to work for my arthritic pup but the design is all wrong. It does not sturdily hold the body.

The media could not be loaded. Really well made & very adjustable cart for our Sanctuary Manx Cat "Shadow". Great Price! He quickly adjusted to the cart and walking with it (even up short steps). Consider the size of your cat or dog body weight as opposed to height & length. Bought two, two different sizes. Our Vet was very impressed at how well he walked around his office!

After just a few outdoor uses, the metal parts started rusting. Poor durability and definitely not worth the price.

Bought this for our dog that became paralyzed suddenly. It is easy to build, but not ideal when needing to adjust the sizing. We ended up, moving her legs more in words like the photo. But it was still not comfortable, and it did not hold up her legs. I'm not sure if it's a design, flaw, or if the sizing was off.
