Kitty and the Vanishing Act (11) Paperback – May 7, 2024

My 6 year old granddaughter absolutely loves these books. She had read the first 4-5 books and wanted more for Christmas. She asked Santa to bring and I added 2 more. Her excitement! Great stories for early readers.

We bought this chapter book for our 7-year old niece. It's perfect for her. The narrative is action-packed and beautifully written. The main character is inspiring. The storyline about friendship is heartfelt and moving and the illustrations are gorgeous.

My daughter loves the Kitty books and a welcome relief from unicorns and fairies!

The media could not be loaded. I read this to my girls (8 and 10) over the course of about a week’s bedtimes and we enjoyed it. It was probably a little young for the older child but my younger daughter really enjoyed it. It’s pitched perfectly at the 5-8 year range, I think. For younger children, they can access and understand the story with its relatively simple concept and progression. For older ones like my 8-year-old, it’s the perfect book for her to read by herself – big print, lots of pictures and she can clearly understand what’s going on every step of the way, enabling her to relax and read for fun, independently.For older children (9+), I think the story is probably too simplistic, but for younger children it’s great!

We do love the Kitty books-Paula Harrison certainly knows how to captivate her readers with the gentle adventures of Kitty and her sidekicks. Here they are excited about going to see a magician perform but when the magician’s poodle vanished during her act and doesn’t reappear, Kitty is on the case. Beautifully written and illustrated, Kitty is a brilliant character and we love reading about the mysteries she solves with a hidden message included within. Can’t wait for the next book in the series!

Lovely book for my little girl! She’s very happy, I’ve been reading it with her and very pleased as it keeps you hooked into the book and interested, we also have 2 cats which makes it even more interesting.😃The writing itself is very easy to read which makes it great for young kids be able to read by themselves, it’s not over complicated and very simple with nice large writing.Has been written very well, pleased with the book. Quality itself is great!
