Great piece of home automation
For the price you can't go wrong, the software is incredibly easy to set up and link with Alexa. Build construction doesn't feel cheap and are not too obtrusive when you are connecting devices to it. Temperamental with led cob type lights, might need to consider an energy saving bulb instead for those types of lighting solutions.

Add plug to app, link app to Alexa. Say 'Alexa Light On'. It works.
Smart Wi-Fi Plug ( B0D2X5D3C2)Add plug to app, link app to Alexa. Say 'Alexa Light On'. It works.Such a simple system, much easier than the ones I used a couple of years ago and gave up on. With these, you simply plug them in, install the Smart Life app, run it and detect the plugs. Link the app to Alexa and you can then control the off/on status of the plugs. It took just a few minutes from unboxing the plugs to issuing voice commands to turn on two standard lights in the lounge. We are very impressed with the speed at which these smart plugs are detected and installed. For me, its just convenience but for someone bedbound or with mobility issues, it may mean the difference of being able to turn on lights or other devices when they want rather than waiting for someone to do it for them.Very impressed with this system and will be looking for more plugs.

One socket failed almost immediately
Bought the pack of four, got them all setup easily enough but one of them failed the next day. Won't power on manually, no light on power button. Ahh well.

Simple to set up, seamless with Alexa.
Two nice small plugs in the pack, smaller than some I have used.So easy to get set up there's really not much to say, set up the app, plug in the socket, pair with the app, done. You can second stage it by linking to Alexa, which was just as easy using the app.The socket responds well, there is power usage info on the app but I'm not sure I'd be using that, but the sockets are sturdy of feel and the quality of the plastic mouldings is good.Simple to set up, easy to use via the app or Alexa.Good item.

Absurdly easy to setup.
These look exactly the same as my existing smart plugs but setup is easier.Start up smartlifePut one in a socket, hold the button until it clicksClick on the little '+' symbol on the top right of smartplus main pageIt auto detected the new device and asks for the network settings to be confirmedand that's it - it works.(Repeat until number of unpaired smart plugs is zero)They also claim, according to smartlife, to have energy monitoring, and it seems to work, which is very nice as I have been considering buying a couple of energy monitoring smart plugs for a while now, to see how much power my dehumidifier, electric blanket, etc. are using, I just had not settled on which ones to get.I am very happy to have received these, with energy monitoring, as part of the Amazon Vine Voice program. At the current price of £13.99 for 2 (at time of review), or £21.99 for 4, they are also less expensive than the ones I was looking at.

Very easy to setup and simple to use!
These plugs come in a box together with a leaflet explaining how to set them up.There is a handy QR code you can scan which sends you to your app store to download the Smart Life app. I already had this app so I didn't have to download it.Once you get on the app, plug the smart plug into the wall and search for it on the Smart Life app.And that is it, that is how simple it is to set up these plugs. You can either control these plugs manually via the Smart Life app, manually via the physical button on the side of the plug, or by voice-activated smart speaker. These plugs don't work with Siri or any Apple smart speaker.
