Good product overall, with a few quirks
The product is a very good value, and they are comfortable and wash well. My challenge is fit, since I am a 38" waist but slim up and down from the waist. These fit comfortably around my hips, not loose at all, and after wearing for several hours, they seem to loosen up and are a size larger around me. The waistband does not change, so they stay in place. They are very comfortable and I do not sweat down there when wearing these.I dress to the right, and these work pretty good for that purpose. I would like to see the waist-to-crotch measurement shortened 2-3 inches and the legs extended 2-3 inches, so these would be easier to wear in the right place to dress to the right or left. If I pull them up too far then johnson can protrude below the leg and be exposed to chafing from jeans or other pants. They are very comfortable to sleep in, which was my main purpose and I am very happy with them. So much, that I have started wearing them all the time.

Poorly designed "fly" results in open gaping "hole" and exposure
It's always great to get a good bargain on a daily staple... and I really wanted to like these shorts...It is true when you wash these they tighten up a bit, but as soon as you put them on they for the most part go back to original, slightly baggy size - I wouldn't necessarily however as severe shrinkage. They act just like a t-shirt does - they are made out of the same jersey knit as t-shirts - they tighten up after washing and then form fit and relax with wear/It is also true they are very soft and comfortable to wear.HOWEVER, there are 2 major design flaws:1) The proportions are off - this is most glaring in the fact that the distance from the waistband to the crotch seam (the "rise"), is abnormally long. The rise is essentially longer than the leg portions - I admit I have a relatively short rise, but this is pretty ridiculous - in the end they really don't fit properly and look like old grandpa underwear!2) The most odd design problem is the "fly" - as soon as you put them on, and even after wearing and stretching to original size, the fly remains as an open hole exposing your junk. I like having an easy open and to use fly, but continuously having an open, gaping hole at the crotch is just bizarre. When I read some of the earlier reviews I thought it was very odd that several people said they were just going to end up using them as rags, but as it turns out if the "gaping hole" doesn't get better with a couple of washes and wear I just may end up doing the same - so perhaps a nice bunch of clean rags for housekeeping and home use.

Good boxers, but they have a vertical back middle seam.
Unfortunately, I had to return these before getting a chance to wear them because of a simple ridiculous reason: they would constantly get in between the... cheeks :( This was a first for me and I found out why - they have a seam right down the middle of the back side. Other than that:- I wear medium but I got a larger size after reading other reviews. It was wise, indeed. The large fit me well. (I am 34 waist, 172 pounds, 5.10 tall)- they are slightly baggy, not the tight type.- As soon as I got them, I tried on a pair, then I washed and dried them all, then tried it on again. I personally could not see any shrinkage. Maybe it was a mis-perception, maybe I got a "lucky batch"...- Material was great and I am really frustrated I had to return them (after I washed and dried the pair that I had worn for a day!). Hopefully they don't send it to other customers. To sum up, that seam ruined a great pair of boxers. Too bad, they were definitely keepers for the price and quality

TL;DR- Too small in the waist,No button on the fly
There are a lot of reviews that say these are too small and they are. The hip and backside are narrower than the waist. I’m a 36 waist (got a large). With my badonkadonk, these end up fitting like boxer briefs. So I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re so hip your butt fell off. Also the pictures don’t lie; these do not have a button on the fly. The fly is short and high up, so it takes more finagling than I like to do to get my business done at the urinal, but it’s a double panel, so you really won’t give anybody a free show unless you work at it. Upside was, even being tight there was plenty of space in the crotchal region. Still going to return and go 2 sizes up. I’m also 6’4 and the legs go to about 1/3 of the way down the thigh, so covered fine there. Material was comfy and is about the expected quality for the price.

Fine, soft, but very lightweight; no longer a fan
I read that these would shrink, so I bought a size up and they work fine. These are indeed every lightweight, and I suspect will not have a long life. That being said, they are very comfortable and soft, especially the waistband (I hate exposed elastic bands...these are wrapped in material). Given the price, I am willing to go with these for a year or two...however long they last!UPDATE: In these few months since I have purchased these, I now agree with some of the more negative posts. First, these are still incredibly soft. The softness of the material, and the comfort of the waistband are the best. HOWEVER, these have continued to shrink, particularly becoming short from crotch to waist, and the legs and seat are ridiculously HUGE...and I have to be careful buying pants because my thighs are large! I have changed my rating to "don't like it" since these are no longer comfortable and I have purchased other to replace. I will be using these as soft polishing rags.

Fits as Expected, with a Caveat
These are 100% cotton. They are not preshrunk. If you try them on right out the pack they are the exact size they are advertised to be. If you wash them in warm or hot water, they shrink. Since they are cotton, if you can deal with them needing to stretch a bit they will work themselves back into the right size. They will be a little snug to start with, though, so you may want to consider buying up a size. Gets the 4th star for value and acceptable wear.
