A little bulky for my teen but she likes using it for practice. It takes away some of her confidence so she opts out of using it for games. Her thumb feels better and not as sore during practice when using. For the current price of $19 I feel is a little high but worth it.

Unfortunately we have not been able to use this for our ten year old catcher because of the size of the guard. However, this should work great for older catchers and those with large hands. It is comfortable on my adult hand and should slide into a catchers mitt very easily. It is a nice quality and will hold up well.

My daughter likes this when catching in baseball. She plays catcher quite a bit and she likes that this helps to reduce pain to her thumb. While it is comfortable to wear and she wears it each inning, she points out that the thickness makes it so that it is harder to get her glove on and off, but that's really not much of an issue overall. She likes it.

The thumb guard does provide protection, but because it is made of solid rubber, it is very sweaty.

Not quite what we had been looking for. We thought this would be a little firm to better protect my daughter's thumb but it's very flexible. Doesn't seem to offer much protection. Would not buy again.

I know this is intended for baseball but I’m using it for tennis/pickleball. I had surgery on my thumb. It left scar tissue and I also have arthritis in that thumb. I need a barrier between my thumb and the racket/paddle. This is a very nice, thick silicone. Large enough to protect my entire thumb.

This is nice for catches of hard throwing pitchers. This adds a little bit extra padding for the thumb/palm area. My catcher wears one everyday.
