I'm pretty sure that the better sheets are softer but if you buy the regular sheets in the green packaging they're not very soft at all even after washing but the debate cover was very worth it It was soft and I love it. I wish I would have bought in a different pair of sheets though.

I'm always a fan of really good quality sheets. Whenever you can climb in your bed and be welcomed into a comfy environment, it's a good setup for a decent night of sleep. As such, we thought that we'd give these percale weave organic cotton sheets a try.Let's start with the cons because the large, overall "good" is almost "in spite of" the cons. The first is that this is the first set of sheets that I've ever owned that came out of the dryer appearing like they needed "ironing". I have never ironed a set of sheets before and I won't start doing so just on principle. Unfortunately, because of the wrinkling the top (flat) sheet didn't stretch as long as it could have and tucking it in on our deeper mattress was kind of a pain (it's also a little bit shorter than some of the king sized flat sheets I've owned). Also, the first impression that we had when we climbed into bed was that it felt similar to climbing in between 2 sheets of copier paper. This isn't the best first impression of a set of sheets when you climb into bed.However, once in bed for a few minutes the sheets actually felt more like crisp hotel sheets than they did copier paper. After sleeping in them overnight, this second impression actually was closer to the truth than the initial impression as well. Further, we felt like they stayed cool and distributed the temperature pretty well which is also pretty important when it comes to getting a good night of sleep. When I made the bed this morning, the sheets pulled up smoothly and despite the wrinkles fell into place just as well if not better than other sheet sets we've had. I am hopeful that after a couple of washes, the wrinkles will start to even out and the sheets will become softer and even more like those nice white hotel sheets I always kind of secretly lust over.Also - and this is probably a fluke - our box had a bonus pillow case. I think that the 3rd pillow case was just stuck to another one, but we have a 3rd pillow on our bed so that was nice to have.

I really love these -- though, to be pair, I am a percale sheet fan. They felt a little stiff when I unboxed them but a quick wash and dry gave them such a lovely texture. They're crisp and cool and feel great against my skin. They fit on the bed really well. The material doesn't feel too thin and I think they should last a while!

I always use 100% cotton sheets, and these fill that mark, but they are rougher than usual.They have a deep pocket for my pillowtop mattress. They bottom sheet has a tag showing what is head and what is foot which made me smile, I have a difficult time putting on the bottom sheet.The other thing I didn't care for is that the top sheet did not have a wide border at the top of the sheet.So I find these to be average. But the price reflects that at about $30 when I got them.

These sheets are definitely crisp like hotel sheets rather than drapey but they feel soft and smooth and are well made. After multiple washings they will likely soften a little more but they will never feel like a microfiber sheet set.After washing they were fairly wrinkly but that's what I expected from a crisp 100% cotton sheet set that's OEKO-TEX certified. Items that are 100% cotton and are wrinkle-free are almost always treated with chemicals to achieve that effect, many of those chemicals are harmful to people with allergies or sensitive skin. I'll happily take some wrinkles, or worst case a bit of ironing, over undisclosed chemicals permeating the fabric that my family members are likely allergic to.The pockets on the fitted sheet are nice and deep with good elastic, the tags indicating the head and foot sides are very helpful, all the seams are well finished, and I even got a third pillow case included which is great for if I want an extra pillow.Overall I like these and think they're a good budget friendly choice for people trying to avoid overly processed bedding. It's not the highest thread count but it's comfortable enough and a good option for an allergy friendly sheet set that doesn't cost a fortune.

Don't buy if you require a deep pocket sheet, it will not fit. Cotton material is almost see through, and feels like it was made from recycled plastic bags--so sad. I threw in the washer to remove the sizing before I discovered what complete crap the sheets were, so I guess I can't return. Do not buy if you like sleeping on cotton sheets that fit your king sized bed.
