Clarifying Sulfate-Free Shampoo, a Deep Weekly Clean that Removes Buildup for All Hair Types & Textures, 13 Fl Oz

I wash my locs weekly and every 2 weeks I do so with this clarifying shampoo. It clarifies and deeply cleans without leaving that awful 'squeaky clean' feel to my hair or leaves me with breakage. I have a LOT of it and a little REALLY goes a long way with this shampoo. I place it directly at my scalp, scrub and it literally stretches enough for me to also fully wash the rest of my hair. If I could describe the smell, it would be a very gentle herbal scent, but if someone else said it smelled like nothing at all, I would also agree because that scent is just so light that it's pretty easy to miss. it's very lightweight, no color and it works and does what it says it does. My scalp feels super clean and my hair feels very soft and super light afterwards. I swear if Odele stops producing this or changes formulas, I'd genuinely be distraught because it's taken me FOREVER to fall into a routine that genuinely works for my scalp and this is the first I've had such amazing results with afterwards retaining moisture, softness and my overall hair and scalp health. Thank you Odele, seriously. If I could rate this out of 10, this would be an easy 12/10.

Love that this is a “clean” product and my hair appears to feel and look so much cleaner. My hair seems to stay fresher longer in between use. Gets rid of the build up and my hair feels much lighter.

Great shampoo for locs! I have middle back length dreadlocs that require clarifying shampoo but those shampoos usually leave my hair crunchy. This shampoo cleansed my hair amazingly! The lather was so rich on the 2nd wash. And my hair was so soft afterwards. It really is good on ALL hair types and the scent is so mild.

It does a great job of removing buildup and leaving my hair and scalp feeling very clean and refreshed without making my hair feel stripped or overly dry. I especially like that it’s sulfate-free, so it cleans well while still being gentle on my hair. After washing, my hair feels lighter, softer, and easier to style. A little goes a long way and it lathers nicely. This has been a great addition to my hair routine. I enjoy trying different hair care products and would definitely be interested in trying more products from this brand in the future.

I needed a hair stripper to take out buildup but can’t stand a chemical or hemp smell. This shampoo gave a good lather, cleaned my scalp good & smelled nice.

I used multiple clarifying shampoo and this works the best for me. I have used Mal-, pan-, giov- etc won't write the whole names. but so far for hardwater clarifying shampoo, Odele is the best one. I lived in Korea where the water quality is very high and soft. I felt the huge difference when I came here. my hairs were falling, itchy scalp, faster build ups, oily, stiff hairs etc. Disaster. I had to do somthing and looked up water softener and filters. But it seemed like a lot of $ and works. For me, the whole point of using hard water shampoo is becasue it is too much of a hassle to install the water softener. I decided to try some special shampoos but I didn't expect much because it's just a shampoo. So in my mind, I would just explore around and it will be eh.. at the end. I tried some special shampoos that advertise in hard water clarifying. And so far Odele fits the best for me. Def make your hair softer, less itchy scalp, and my hair doesn't get oily so fast. I live in a hard water zone area. (the water hardness level is from soft - slightly hard - moderately hard - hard(7-10) - very hard) and my area is around 8.5 which is legit hard water zone. I don't want to say this shampoo makes my hair like I wash in Korea. But very satisfied compared to other clarifying shampoos I tried. So if there's any people here suffering from hard water, give this one a try but you know.. every products varies from person to person. (for regular daily shampoos I like Cerave, mild by nature. But these days I don't even use these, I just use Odele everyday and its great.)

I struggle with a greasy scalp, and when I moved to MN, the hard water made it worse. I use this once a week with a salicylic acid conditioner afterwards, and my hair is MUCH cleaner and my scalp is happier. The lather is very nice, and the fragrance is light and fresh without being harsh, and doesn't irritate my skin. A little goes a long way, too - which is great because the whole household loves this stuff to deal with the hard water!

I like Odele Clarifying shampoo however it will dry your hair out. This was my first trying a clarifying shampoo so if your hair isn’t oily I would suggest yr trying one that is for a dry to normal hair type.
