This is a long review. Here's the tldr: These are low cost, very effective at reducing sound levels, minimal effect what you're hearing (not muffled), comfortable, even for long periods, there are two pairs of ear plus and a carrying case inside the package. I'd recommend them to friends.I tested the earplugs in three different ways: listening to loud music, in a loud work environment, and at live events.For the initial music test I put on my pair of noise cancelling headphones and turned music up uncomfortably loud. I paused it, put in the plugs, then started it up again. There was a marked reduction in the volume, but without the muffling I'm used to with other ear plugs.I tried that same test with several different types of music that I know well, each time I was able to handle the volume of the music with the plugs in, but the the sound quality stayed mostly the same. (You'll always have a little bit of frequency loss with ear plugs, especially at the higher registers.)For the second test I put the plugs in while in a loud work environment. I was in an enclosed room with a laser cutter running, air compressor kicking on automatically periodically, music playing, and people talking loudly to overcome the ambient noise. I put in the ear plugs and felt immediate relief from the overbearing sound. While it reduced the volume of everything, I was still able to hear the conversations and interact with people without any difficulty.Lastly, I used these earplugs both at our daughter's cheer competitions and at a live music venue.Cheer competitions, for the uninitiated, are typically in a school's gym with a DJ playing loud music. There are breaks in the music for the emcee to introduce the next school or make announcements, then back to the loud music for the next team's routine, etc.I love loud music, but I was finding these competitions nearly unbearable because school gyms are typically not soundproofed at all, so all the noise (DJ's music, coaches yelling, people clapping and cheering on the cheerleaders, etc.) it all mixes together and bounces around.Using the earplugs in this environment was a big relief. I could still hear the music and DJ clearly, but at a reduced volume level. It made the experience not only bearable, but actually enjoyable.I also had the opportunity to see one of my favorite bands recently. I was in general admission, about 15-20 feet from the stage for most of the show. With the live drums, guitar amps, and theatre's sound system, it was very loud.I walked during the opening band's first song. It was crazy loud, even all the way at the back. I put the ear plugs in immediately and there was a night and day difference.I wore them for the rest of the show (about 3 1/2 hours) and didn't have any issues with comfort. They are also very small, basically invisible unless the person next to you is looking into your ear.Inside the package there are two pairs of ear plug (each within their own plastic, flip-top box) and a metal case with a screw-on top and keyring. There isn't much of a difference between the two sizes. I mostly used the larger plugs, but did test both sizes in all environments.

Really glad I chose to go with this product as it has both comfort and the material quality I was looking for. So far, its performance has been great as my ears are no longer ringing after loud bangs in my hectic work environment. Also the two pairs plus the case are definitely great value for the money.

For the price, it’s definitely worth it. People say that these are the same as regular earplugs… no they’re not. I have worn regular earplugs at festivals for years. I typically go to EDM festivals with heavy bass, and I could immediately tell a difference with these… music was clear and crisp but my ears felt very protected from the sound. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because they were slightly uncomfortable at times. Nothing unbearable, but I had to adjust them here and there. No biggie. I feel like this is probably an issue with lots of non-custom earplugs anyway. So definitely get them if you’re not wanting to spend $60+ on earplugs for a show or fest, they’re worth it!Carrying case was cute too and they did send me 2 different sets/sizes!

Bought for concert use. Unfortunately these are very cheaply made and not what I expected based on the product description. (Oh and hey, I thought they had a metal disc..... I don't see it)First they are a very poor fit for my small ears, right side almost impossible to get to stay in and seat I tried both pairs. Neither worked for me.Second. They offer very minimal to non existant noise cancelling. Sounds the same in or outOverall extremely disappointed in this product and if you want something for concerts I don't think this is the answer

They actually work pretty well to block sound, but the tabs that hang out of your ears to remove the plugs start to break away after about a month or two of regular use. After about three months, both pairs that come with the pack are pretty much done for.

I was not happy with this product. I was not able to hear clearly and unable to make out the words to lyrics and when muscian spoke. I ended up not wearing them shortly after show started. I am going to return. They look nice but looks are deceiving. I did like the case to put them in. I was upset for I read reviews and many people liked them. Not me. :(

Because of the material used the earplugs won't seal well. Unlike the material used on my Alpines which is great. With these "High Fidelity Concert Ear Plugs" I can push them to a point where the feel ok but they just pop back out again leaving too much space around the plug.Another unusual thing, I always use the larger size earbuds but with these the large is too large and the small is ok but possibly a bit too small.They may work for some but not for me. Waste of money from my personal perspective.
