Brilliant!
I really love these headphones! I've always enjoyed swimming - when I was a child that meant swimming, diving, playing about in the water for hours on end. Now, as an adult, although the love for the water is still there, swimming for fitness had become a fairly boring ploughing up and down of the pool lanes. When I go walking, I listen to music and audiobooks on my headphones, and even a dull "duty" walk on a grey day can be transformed by what's going on in my ears! And that was exactly what I needed for my lane swimming. I didn't even know you could get headphones for swimming till I saw someone in my pool wearing them. She recommended the Shokz Openswim Pro and so I ordered them. They are just great - easy to wear, easy to learn to operate (and I'm not that techy) and the sound is incredibly good - even with my head in the water with swimming mode and earplugs in. The headphones come in a neat little bag and include earplugs and a noseclip. I use MP3 mode when swimming because of the distance I get from my phone, but it's easy to switch between Bluetooth and MP3 mode.

Good for swimming
This is an interest in product. We purchase this to use while swimming. You can't use the Bluetooth and have to download via MP3.So that's a little bit painful. The audio quality is actually shockingly good. They fit well and we've had no issues with them coming off while swimming. There are a fair few buttons on the device so worth keeping the manual to hand.

Great, but one flaw
I have had a pair of Shokz running headphones for years, absolutely love them. I've always wanted the swimming ones too but was always put off by the lack of bluetooth connectivity so couldn't wait for the OpenSwim Pro to be released as they have both bluetooth and MP3.The sound quality out of the water is of a good standard, they work well for calls too, they're really comfortable to the point you forget you're wearing them and what I love most is being aware of what else is going on around you.Overall, i'm very pleased with how they work in the water too. From a comfort perspective I kept thinking they were going to come off but they don't, even if you swim fast. I did find however that sometimes when pushing off the wall fast they feel like they will come off but they don't. The sound quality is good considering there is a lot of splashing water noise with swimming and you can improve the quality more with the use of the earplugs they provide, but I don't think you need to use them. When swimming fully underwater the sound is amazing because you don't have the splashing background.I always wondered how well the bluetooth connection would work with these when swimming. It works, so you can stream music while you're swimming on the surface, but as soon as you fully submerge your head you loose the sound for the time you're under the water. So why a 4 and not a 5? Simply because of the MP3 functionality. With the 32GB storage you can store thousands of songs - which is great. The problem is there is no way of navigating the songs or podcasts to choose the media you want to listen to (not via the device or the app on your phone). So the headphones either play through the songs sequentially, in shuffle or on repeat. If I put them in folders, it makes no difference, there is no way to just select a folder of songs to play. This to me is a fundamental design flaw. I wanted to listen to a podcast and only had two choices to find it to play - I either had to skip through all the songs manually to find it, or I had to delete everything else on the headphones to find it easily. I chose the latter. It's a pity, Shokz couldn't nail this navigation issue as I can see it will make it rather frustrating over time.Would I recommend these? In short, Yes. If you like to swim and want some entertainment, buy these - I don't regret it and i'll just hope that Shokz can solve the MP3 navigation flaw with a software update!

Brilliant!!!
These for me are a total game changer for my weekly swims. I normally swim for 1 hour and it gets boring doing front crawl and staring at the tiles in the floor of the pool for 6 hours per week bored out of my skull.Enter the Shokz, now this is where it's at! load up your MP3's you have stored on your drive from years ago as we have now been used to Apple music and Spotify, put some MP3 playlists on and away you go, this takes the boredom out of your swim, I do 100 lengths of a 25m pool per swim 6 times per week but I have been clocking up 120 lengths plus on occasion as reminiscing about years gone by from playlists I don't realise how much time has gone by.Once I've finished I go for a steam or spa and switch to audible from my Apple Watch to listen to my current audible book, absolutely brilliant.Quality of sound is not as good as your Apple Ear pods etc, but for underwater, these are about as good as it gets, and I've tried the cheaper alternatives so believe me these are the best, you'll be suprised how good these things are.I can honestly say, this has been the best purchase in a long time in terms of usage, these things are used a lot and as such I decided to protect them with insurance against accidental damage that Amazon offer during the checkout, A first for me and worth it if I happen to break them somehow. If you are a swimmer and have MP3's on your drive then get these, the price is worth it.

Perfect for Swimmers and Active Lifestyles!
The Shokz OpenSwim Pro Bone Conductor Headphones have been a game-changer. I love swimming but get bored after about 5 lengths. Music has made all the difference. After a few weeks of using these, I can confidently say they’re worth every penny! They are so light and fit so comfortably that I hardly notice wearing them. It’s like there is just music in your head. The built in MP3 hard drive lets me listen to a selection of uploaded playlists while I swim. Then when I get out it’s really easy to switch to Bluetooth and connect to my phone to watch tv shows while I sit in the Sauna or on the hot beds. Battery is really good too, approx 6hrs.The sound quality is great and even better when swimming I guess because the density is increased around your head under the water. I can’t recommend these highly enough. They aren’t cheap but are worth the money.
