Excellent face lotion!
From someone who has extremely sensitive skin, I can't say enough about the Jack Black face moisturizer! To give some background, not only have I suffered from an intense oily T zone on my face, but developed a mild case of psoriasis around my nose, forehead, and hairline. After trying a myriad of different over the counter and expensive products, I found Jack Black a few years ago, and have exclusively used this moisturizer ever since. It is very light weight, smooth, and non greasy, with zero scent. Previous products would cause me to breakout, however, not this! This is also an excellent lotion to use if you are slugging with Aquaphor- no skin damage or breakouts.

Moisturizing but not mattifying
I have bought this product many times as it does not contain any oils or add any additional shine to my skin, but instead keeps it hydrated and soft but throughout the day, you still will get oily skin. At first product goes on and your skin definitely looks matte without any shine, but the product is not geared towards keeping that appearance all day if you have naturally oily skin, it will eventually begin to be shiny and greasy not because of the product purchase because it’s not made to combat oily skin. It’s just formulated not to make it worse.

Underrated Product..
I use this product as a nighttime moisturizer in combination with a prescription 0.1% Retinol. It is one of the only products I have found that works well with my combination skin. All of the other moisturizers I have tried are either too heavy and leave my T-zone (forehead/bridge of nose) oily and more prone to breakouts or they are too light and require a lot of lotion to fully hydrate my skin outside of the T-zone area. The only moisturizers I have found that are remotely comparable (at more than twice the price) are Eau Thermale Hydrance Intense Rehydrating Serum by Avene and Ibuki Refining Moisturizer by Shiseido; however, I just can't justify going through a bottle of $40-50 moisturizer every 3 weeks. And even if I could justify spending that much money on a nighttime moisturizer, I would still use this moisturizer over the other two simply because it takes a smaller amount of lotion to fully hydrate my skin and the results are the same.TLDR: 5 star product, great nighttime moisturizer for people with combination skin

Fine for the face and balding head
At 50-something, people would describe me as balding, I’m sure. In the past, I have not used hair conditioner, any kinds of moisturizing lotions on hair nor body. Plan has changed, but just 3 hours after showering, I find myself with a shiny forehead and head. I was looking for a product to tend to that and someone suggested this product, which is a quality moisturizer with a matte finish. So it is, but not the miracle I was looking for. Will continue to use, but am leaning towards a topical product instead, some kind of dulling powder. I’ve been given a few ideas, still pondering if I want to start carrying around hygiene products in my work bag. I don’t know.

Pricey but great
My 20 year old son loves this moisturizer. He still has teenager skin so he doesn't need any extra oil but likes to have a moisturizer to smooth his skin. He has tried many others but keeps asking for this one. The bottle lasts several months.

My new favorite moisturizer!
My fiancé started using it and told me to try it. Literally made my skin feel so nice and clean, and without all the oils and gross stuff. Yes it’s a little pricey, but it’s totally worth it! Highly recommend!
