This rice is more like a long grain variety and does not smell (when cooking) or taste like basmati.Having said that, it is perfectly edible.

These are exactly the premium quality rice I was looking for. Don't take very long but make every cuisine with rice looking awesome. I bought for a get together and the biryani got a lot more compliments than usual.

Tastes plasticky. Hard to get right texture. Not as great as tilda but cheaper.

Best for bringe
I have to say that Sela Basmati is best for Bringe (Afghan and Iranian cuisines). It has long big grains and comes out perfect for a best Pulao rice.I would recommend it for anyone looking for pulao cuisines as its different from the normal basmati that is commonly available in the UK markets.
