Fantastic Customer Service
It works exactly as posted... I love it. But there is a back story - the first unit I got had a faulty HDMI port... everything else worked fine. SO I wrote the company and WOW... I mean they asked questions, apologized... and sent me a replacement. I have never had better customer service anywhere. And of course, the new unit just shines... I recommend these folks without any reservations at all!

This hub was just what I needed for my new Mac. So far I have only had a small issue now and then with my monitor not connecting, but a simple unplug and replug of the adapter and everything picks back up and works fine. For the price, I think this is a great buy that anyone with a portless Mac will appreciate.

Worked about 2 monts....
This device worked about 2 months before it began to get flaky. The receptacles then worked about half the time and then one not at all. It did have that many to begin with. It's cheap but I couldn't find a better one so I ordered it. Not again though!

Good for newer macs
Got this to connect my memory card with new macbook. Was previously using a different USB C to connect my camera body to laptop, but this one has the slot for memory cards!!

Works.
Works great. HDMI works, USB hubs are able to operate as USB 3.0 as advertised. SD card slots both work. USB-C port works (and can charge your laptop, if it charges with a USB-C connector).

Not Happy with this device
I tried this for several months and these are my issues. 1. If you plan on hooking up an external DVD player it wont work. 2. Every time I try to install a micro SD card the chip doesn't always slip into the slot. It ends up where the SD card goes completely inside the Hub and it takes tweezers just to get it out. Not Happy with this device .

Good addition for Road Warriors.
Works as advertised. Saves having to carry around a bunch of dongles. Very portable.

I do not recommend this product
Update: The seller quickly sent me a new unit and this one works great on my Surfacebook.
