Phobya Y-adaptor 4Pin Molex to 2x 4Pin PWM and 3Pin 30cm - black Cables Fan cables & adptors

Bought this for my retro PC. I have a fractal design case with 3 140mm fans and my antique motherboard only has one fan connector (for CPU) Nicely made with braided cable covers

This product is great for someone that wants to have three fans powered by one molex connector, the sleeving is good quality and to a high standard. The only reason this does no have four stars in my opinion is that the molex connector on mine was a bit hard to plug in and take out as the pins were slightly out of place, however I have had this problem with many other molex connectors before and this does not cause any serious problems.

PWM ? 2 cables x2 pin and 1 cable x 3 pins, no way this is PWM like described.Fan controller needed to make it work at rpm you want or it will work at full speed (PWM = 4 pin cable connector).

This is not PWM as it needs a 4Pin Motherboard header connector to detect the PWM signal to change fan speeds.How can it detect a PWM singnal from a molex?Be carefull what you buy, if this cable had an extra 4 pin motherboard fan header connection it would work,Obviously you need three things: (1) Power, Which is molex(2) at least one of your fan connectors must be 4 pin (3) 4 pin motherboard fan header connection to talk with the motherboards PWM signal.You can buy them out there & they cost about the same.This one is Incorrectly advertised!!!

does work really well as a simple solution and came early, do remember that your computer will be loud and isn't a permanent solution as treating pwm/4 pin fans on full load, which the adapter basically does with no controller will be unbearable, but will quench your thirst for a COOL PC.

Well made cable, did the job it was intended.

The molex was a little tough to plug in, I'd say the pins were slightly angled but in all fairness my female molex on the psu wasn't exactly perfectly straight.Managed to get it plugged in and now runs a 120mm fans on the front of my case, perfect!

Serves its purpose, only 3 stars because it want clear in the description that it fits a 4 pin connector but only has 2 pins, because of this it wont allow for multi speed fans to function other than full speed which is usually loud. It is good quality just not decriptive.
