Plus: At its brightest setting the display is colorful and easy to read. The speed updates rapidly as your speed changes, and tested against radar, it is dead-on accurate. Very good value for the price. Excellent option for vintage cars where the speedometer is inaccurate or inoperable.Minus: There is no easy way to mount this speedometer to the dash. There is not a large enough flat spot on the back for double stick tape or a glue-on magnet. There should be some sort of mounting bracket provided. Also, the power cord sticks out far beyond the back of the speedometer, which prohibits mounting the unit on a flat surface. It should have a 90˚ connector where it plugs into the unit. The power cord provided is very long.The unit has an automatic brightness control that dims the display in dark conditions. The light sensor is on the back of the unit, so if you mount it against or under the dash, the display will be too dim to see in daylight. The sensor should actually be located on the face of the unit where the display is. Fortunately, this automatic dimming feature can be disabled and the brightness set to the level you desire.

My speedometer went out on my BMW temporarily but as soon as I plugged this in I was able to ride in confidence it gets the job done.

Plugged in screen lights up and starts spinning as it suppose to load to choose the function you want to use it still hasn’t loaded and stopped spinning no response from seller ! Avoid

Just plug it in, select your display type and max speed, and you're good to go. You can stick it to your dash with the double sided mounting tape provided, or use silicon glue to keep it in place.It's not weatherproof, but hopefully it doesn't rain inside your car.It's cheap, but it's good for what it is.Possible Future Upgrades: a rubber wrap to make it water resistant, and battery compartment for (2) AA or (1) 18650 battery to make it wireless, and a tube clamp or mount for use on minibike or mountain bike.

I've purchased several of these for various go kart restorations. Never any issues and also very easy to see at all times.
