This is a great bidet. We had recently installed a simple, cold water bidet which we liked a lot. But we all longed for some warmer water on our butts and other parts so we decided to replace it. There were two choices: one was to get a system that hooked up to out hot water pipes. The other was to get a model that plugged in and heated the water internally. I am glad we chose the Ivyel. Besides just warmer water, you get so many other features and controls that let you choose exactly how you want your toilet experience to be. The system can move around to exactly where you want the water to reach, you can alter the pressure and the warmth of the water. You have control over the type of spray and you can dry your parts afterwards. I have to confess that you might need to read half a page or so of that novel you are sitting with to get entirely dry. (The manual says to give yourself a little pat-pat with some toilet paper to speed up the drying time)The install was super simple. To uninstall our previous system and install the Ivyel took about 35 minutes. An adjustable wrench or big pliers is all you will need. All the parts fit and were of very high quality. The seat is very handsome and quite well designed. Its comfortable to sit on and has a seat warmer feature for those cold morning visits. The seat area is a bit smaller than a standard toilet seat but hasn't seemed to be a problem for our family.High quality, very adjustable, easy to install, handsome to look at, and a blue night light to boot!. Easily five stars.

Easy to install and works perfectly!

1. Excellent packing, this was my 1st impression, 2. Very clear user instructions. 3. Design with mind, easy to install or uninstalled if I need to do a deep cleaning, 4. The nozzle self cleaning process is the best design compared to the other brand I had owned 4 years ago. 5 My only wish is, I wish the remote controller can be an option to buy after I installed this non remote one, because remote control can be easier for old man like me.

Amazon sent me the wrong bidet twice, and they were very difficult to work with and kept telling me to take pictures before I could send it back and they would send me the right one. I finally got so frustrated I called the bidet company directly and spoke to a woman named Jane. She immediately took care of my problem by sending me the correct bidet and not even asking me to return the other one until I receive the new one. It turns out Amazon doesn’t even have the one that I wanted even though they advertise it in the picture. But Jayne took care of all my problems and I couldn’t be more pleased with her service and the company. Then when I had questions about how to use it, I called the company and against spoke to Jane who patiently went over every feature and how to use it. I’ve never had a better service than I received from her and I hope the Ivyel company appreciates her. As for the bidet itself, it’s beautiful. Well-made. Reasonable price. Works great!

After visiting Italy many times, my wife has become enamored of bidets. We purchased a basic Tushy add-on bidet and she likes it, but the water is not heated and the adjustments are limited. So for Mothers Day I surprised her with an Ivyel J-2 Smart Electric Bidet. She loves it! It is the Cadillac of add-on bidets. So far, after a few weeks, its performance has been flawless. Installation is quick and simple - I installed it in 30 minutes in the morning before she awoke on Mothers Day. I did not purchase the remote-control model for fear we might lose the remote device.
