This black version was literally half the price of various colours so I took the plungeExcellent quality and fit suits me perfectly

This is both waterproof and breathable as stated and the pockets are substantial enough for gloves,compass, phone etcI would like the hood design to be able to be rolled down into a collar and for the main zip to be easier to engage and slide. Apart from these things it's a good packable light weight jacket.

I normally take a XXL in outdoor gear ( Didrikson, Fjallraven, Berghaus) so ordered a Salewa Puez in Goretex Paclite.Jacket arrived but sizing at least two sizes too small.Technically fine . Goretex etcJUST TRIPLE CHECK THE SIZING CHART BEFORE ORDERING.

After six monhts of wear, there is already a hole developing around the waist - this is due to the sharp edged metal eyelet rubbing against the lining.Totally not worth the asking price considering other Gore-tex jackets usually last at least five years. (One of my Berghaus Gore-tex jackets is well over twelve years old and is totally perfect apart from looking a bit worn).

Great looking, fits great, but was still soaked to the skin after a long hike! There's goretex on both sides of the pockets too but they still had puddles in them which tells me it might be a bit more than just a condensation problem 🤷
