Very nice liner for blackout, noise reduction, and insulation
I didn't want to replace my curtains in the house but they are not insulated or light blocking. I wanted solution where I could use existing curtains and rods. These were easy to attach to existing curtains and I can already tell a difference with light, insulation, and noise. I would say they need to go on decent rods because they do add some weight to your curtains which you need for the properties mentioned above. Don't put them on flimsy cheap rods. On one very long window I did add a hook to help support the added weight [it was a light rod with light cotton pretty sheers]. This allowed me to keep my pretty sheers but winterize it. And they're not black which I am happy about. Good buy. I recommend them.

Great product
I was impressed with the feel of these curtain liners. Smooth, soft and completely opaque. Perfect for keeping out cold in the winter or heat in the summer. Just what I needed.

Inexpensive and efficient
Prior to installing these behind my ikea curtains, it was so bright each morning that it was impossible to sleep past 6am. These curtain liners don’t block out 100% of the light, but I think that is due to the way that I’ve hung them. I left spaces in the center so they wouldn’t be visible when the curtains are open. I honestly prefer it better like this—it’s dark enough to sleep in or take mid-day nap but it let’s in enough light to know when it’s morning. They do add quite a bit of bulk to the look of my curtains, but they’re effective so I can live with this. They seem to help with temperature control as well which is a nice bonus. They were a bit longer than my actual curtains, but I just cut them with scissors and they seem to be holding up well. For the price these are great!

Work great to block heat
Got these to hang behind my regular curtains to block summer heat. I bought a cheap curtain rod and put these under my curtains. They work great! A little stiff but light weight. My room is much cooler. You can feel the heat that’s blocked behind them if you put your hand back there. Also blocks all the light! No regrets. Hate paying SCE.

Keeps out light and cold air
I was glad I found these. The length fit my needs, but they are a bit wide. I thought when I purchased, I would just push them back (used a double rod for hanging). But the material is heavy. I'll be cutting the width down.

Tabs ripped immediately
These do a good job of blocking light! There is no doubt about that - it's way easier to have something like this than buying blackout fabric and doing all the work of finishing the edges, attaching to a curtain panel, etc. However, I washed mine on cold, on delicate, with only the two panels in the machine and both the headings started falling apart. On one panel, I found a big long loose thread on the front side of the panel. Wasn't stoked to see that, but figured it was still usable. However, on the other panel, the tabs have started completely ripping out 4 inches from the edge. Needless to say, I'll be attempting to return. I washed/dried on such low settings that there are still fold line wrinkles in them, so I'm not sure how else I could have gone about it. I suppose if you're okay with not washing these, then go for it, because they really do a great job at blocking out the light, but with the loops ripping out of mine, they just won't be usable. I know there is a big box Swedish store where I can purchase items that appear to have better stitching for the hooks and will be going that route.

Really well made
These thermal liners actually impressed me. Great quality. Already working excellent where I have hung. Came with hooks but did not need these, although very thoughtful design. I recently purchased from another company on here and they arrived quickly but were cheaply made and not thick material. Glad I found this seller.

EASY INSTALL! Can already feel a difference!
I just installed these and I’m already so excited! Took maybe 10 minutes to install super easy and I can already feel the temperature difference! My AC unit is over 30 years old and really struggles in the Texas summer especially with my large patio doors and after installing these I can already feel it getting cooler in my house and the floor cooling off! 😍InstallingI took my curtains down, slid the pins along the bottom of the pole slot on the side that will face the window. Put the curtains back ok the pole and got between the curtain and window and slide the loops of the thermal curtains into the hooks. Easy peasy. You’ll want to make sure to give some slack between each hook or you’ll end up with extra at the end of the curtain. But I’m quite pleased!

Mission Accomplished
I ordered 2 packages of these white blackout panels because I didn’t realize that one package contains 2 panels. However, I think I’m keeping the extra set because they accomplish what I wanted — room darkening! Other reviewers have commented on their weight and how they pull on the fabric of their decorative drapery panels and distort the shape and how they hang once the panels are installed. Knowing this ahead of time, I wasn’t certain these would work for me especially since I was installing the blackout panels behind light-weight linen, grommet drapes. The blackout panels come with drapery hooks that will only work if you hook the blackout panels and your decorative panels together with the hooks provided (this is what causes the pulling and distortion). Since I wanted these blackout panels installed behind grommet panels, I knew I had to do something else and I didn’t want to install grommets into the blackout panels. I happened to have some inexpensive shower curtain hooks on-hand and they worked perfectly! I laid my decorative panel on top of the blackout panels and evenly spaced the shower hooks along the loops of the blackout panel. I simply threaded both the blackout panel and decorative panel onto my rod at the same time making sure to start, and end, with the decorative panel. There was no strange odour to these panels (as some have mentioned about other blackout panels). The panels were quite wrinkled (due to packaging) but I hung them as they came, straight out of the package. I have not washed or ironed these yet so I gave it a 4 star based on the “unknown” at this point. The panels Hope the pics help!
