I've gone through 5 or 6 headsets in the past 3-4 years, mostly because I'm super cheap when it comes to buying things for myself. I didn't want to go crazy, but I wanted something decent.I landed on this model for 2 reasons: price and consistency. It didn't break the bank and I already have a TB Stealth Ultra controller. Bought the controller because of magnetic anti stick drift thumbsticks, but don't love the overly complicated menu and configuration and it does not live up to the battery life they claim, so I had my reservations.I was wrong. Haven't had any connection issues (I occasionally have one with the controller which is also connected via USB dongle). The battery life on this headset has been great so far and the sound is great, especially when playing shooters (pinpointing footsteps and such). The only minor issue is that it feels like the volume wheel could be tighter and it drifts to max volume sometimes and I have to adjust it, which is super loud when that happens. Comfortable after lengthy sessions, too. All-in-all it was a good purchase and if you're looking for quality without breaking the bank, I suggest it.

item has been one of the best feels very durable and continues to work perfectly fine, speakers on the headset are incredibly nice and the instructions for some of the stuff are quite clear and the app is nice too.

I’m absolutely loving these headphones! Despite some misleading reviews out there, the head strap is indeed adjustable—just unscrew it and move the lock to the next groove. I chose these as an all-in-one solution for seamless use between my phone, Xbox, and computer, and they’ve exceeded my expectations. They’re incredibly comfortable and lightweight, without feeling cheap or fragile.A tip for new users: follow the startup instructions in the included manual to update both the headset and the WiFi USB. It’s a simple process, though you might need to repeat it once or twice for everything to update properly. While the headphones work without the update, I found the sound quality dramatically improved after completing it. Highly recommend!

So I just received this mic yesterday and off the bat I had issues with hearing game volume everything I tried wouldnt work then it randomly started working when I turned on Bluetooth mode and switched back to wireless mode then I had to hook the mic up to my laptop to update it and turn the mic monitoring off and it was having issues connecting to my computer as well when I finally got it synced it started updating and randomly stopped at 50% on the transmitter update and wouldn't finish but afterwards it worked fine the rest of the night the next day came home from work got on Xbox turned the mic on it paired with the transmitter but again no game volume so I sat there for hours trying everything possible for some weird reason i could get it to work by flipping the headset mic up and down muting and unmuting but just to test and make sure I wasn't going to have this issue again I turned the mic off turned it back on it synced with my Xbox but again no game volume! It sucks I really wanted this mic to work it's really comfortable and lightweight and the sound quality isn't bad but overall I'm very disappointed and will be sending it back for a refund . If I were you I would stay away from this headset and go with a pair of Astros or steel series I was trying to save money and get this but after this I'm just going to go ahead and drop 150 and get the steel series arctic 7x.

Everything is good but you may need to speak a little louder in order for the mic to pick up your voice on occasion

I have mixed feelings. The headset works really well and sounds amazing. But I'm still terrible at video games after buying it. I had higher hopes for it. 🤔

Turtle Beach has had a very good reputation many, many years ago, and I was looking for a budget friendly gaming headset. I see this product came out to the market approx April 2024 this year, and that as a promo, Amazon Vine (and possibly other major retailers) working alongside Turtle Beach, gave out this item for free to reviewers to write an honest review. Well, I am NOT one of them but my review IS Honest. I purchased this item reading what I thought were honest reviews. Quite a few reviewers failed to mention that the Firmware Update is Mandatory for this Item to Fully Function, AND that it takes at least an Intermediate to Advanced IT Person to figure out that if you want to use this item on Windows 11, the installation will shut down every time if you don't configure the Setup file for compatibility. ADD to this mess, even if you're lucky to get the software installed, You will then need to use your phone to download the APP to complete the Firmware update! It is a 3 STEP PROCESS THAT TOOK ME 5 HOURS.Whenever I go back to the PC app, the app says device disconnected even when I turn the headphones on. Another glitch right there.ALSO, the USB Transmitter Dongle will be Flashing RED. This does not mean it's not working as it's working for me. It rarely turns Green which is ODD because doesn't Green usually mean GO?Folks this item is not worth the trouble for this price. I am awaiting a reply back from Turtle Beach Customer Service regarding the software installation issue.Other negatives: You have to unscrew and rescrew the band to make the headband piece if you have a larger head size.A small section of the earpiece/faux leather foam came dented and cosmetically i can't get it to get back into shape.the 1 star is for the sound quality and things working out to satisfaction after all was fixed on my end.If it breaks or fails, then Zero.Update as of 8/14/24: It appears that the Support Team fixed quite a number of issues mentioned above. I will update to 3 stars. The PC application is now recognizing when I power on the headset.Audio quality was also upped to 24 bit 48000 Hz as windows default which is not the best but decent.Minor glitch: Once you turn on the headset, you have to go to settings and change the speaker to the headset and vice versa when you want to go back to your PC speakers (Hopefully there will be an update/fix for this soon). The sound (and especially bass) when playing games is far superior than listening to music, so I guess this is the reason they call it a gaming headset lol.Update: Nov 2024: All technical glitches have been resolved to the best of the manufacturer (as long as you follow the instructions carefully. The sound quality remains amazing and most (if not all of above issues have been fixed via firmware updates. I upped this review to 5 stars. I highly recommend this item now.
