Allow home charger to be used for guests' cars
Heavy (and heavy-duty) adapter seems very well made. I bought one because I have a home charger with the basic J1772 Type 1 adapter. With more EV's showing up, I wanted to be able to charge guests' cars with a J1772 Type 2 connector when they visit. This adapter met that need.

Perfect Fit to Euro Standard BMW Vehicle
If you've got a European standard charger IEC 62196 as we do, then the trick is to find a good adapter and this one is quite good. It's rated for level 3 but I haven't tried it above level 2 so far - mostly on J1772 home and destination chargers for multiple hours at about 60 Amps max. Does well and does not overheat. Fits tightly and locks both sides. Good adapter.
