Use the rubber sleeve !!
We bought two sets of these and they are amazing, my wife was way ahead of me and her rear light was very visible, we have used them in the rain too, the only issue I had was that I broke the clamp, when you open up the package it comes with a rubber sleeve that goes in between the sleeve and your handle bars. If you do not use the sleeve and try and clamp it directly to the metal it will snap as mine did. I emailed Herobeam and got a quick response, they were extremely helpful and sent out a replacement clasp free of charge.

Brightness and reliability
Iv only had about a week so bare that in mind..Up to yet been wet through and still works...Had one full charge and still got power after 2 weeksLove the red lights on the side and easy on/off buttonThe main light has different settings and quick tp scroll throughWhat i like is that when i come down the lane which isn't lit... It lights the way adequatelyConsBulkyBut got an easy dismount catchAT THE SIDE😎someone had brains when designing it😆Up to yet has passed the wetness and power to battery drainage...The rest is history seeing as this is my 6-7th main lightThe quality of the lights being produced and sold today are appalling with most claiming to be water-resistant... They are right thereWater resistant.. 1 drop of waterNOTWater proof🤔

Sturdy conventional mount.
Both front and back lights are super bright. Front light at maximum brightness can be quite dazzling for pedestrians walking from the opposite side. Also what I care the most was how securely the light is mounted and its mount is super sturdy. No matter how rough road you cycle on, how severely your bike shake like flu patients this light will never slip if you have tightened and mounted it properly. Battery seems lasting long time, I’ve been using it for one or two weeks every weekdays’ evening and still shows no sign of running low. (It takes about 15 mins from my house to work. So that means I used it for good two three hours.) One thing I found that can be improved is the easy detachment of back light. You are supposed to detach it by pulling the rubber mount of back light unlike the front light which you can just detach the lighting part without loosen the mount itself. However considering the price which is fairly cheap among the similar product range, that is a minor defect. Very satisfied.

Does the job
I’ve never ridden in the dark or had a light before so can’t compare to anything else. However I went on the reviews on Amazon and felt assured that the product would be good enough. When it arrived it came in a lovely box and was packaged really well. I made sure I read the instructions as I had heard that people had snapped the plastic. I think it’s a good strong plastic and is easy to attach to the bike. There is a back light also. The back light has different settings and I prefer the flashing setting. The front light has different levels of brightness as well. It’s also chargeable which is fab! I’m really pleased and so far all has been well with it. I’m sure if any concerns crop up then I will contact the manufacturer whom I’m sure will assist any concerns

used this for over a year now
I don't write reviews often, but I think Herobeam needs bigging up some more.I have used this bike light for over a year now, it is the most reliable light I have had.but like most things with constant use ( i commute to work every day, returning in the dark)I have never had a problem. the light has not lost any brightness and the battery is still working, but last week the front bracket snapped.I contacted HeroBeam and told them.I received a new bracket the next day.great customer serviceThank you

Rear light is good, front light is too complicated
Rear light works fine, but after about a year the front light just cut out, side flashed still work, but the main light doesn't and I can't repair it so I've had to replace. I feel like you can get a lot more if you spend just slightly more money. It's also quite bulky for something that gives off the same amount of light as my tiny 3 LED spare.

Top quality lights at an affordable price.
The front light fitting was easy to put on the bike. Both the front and rear lights are easy to put on/take off. I also like the side light on the front light, gives that added safety. They are easy to recharge and the front light has three settings. I commute 3.5 miles each way to work. There is only a small part which is unlit but the front bike light lights it up really well. I can honestly say that they are excellent value for money.

I would recommend this
The lamp itself is really good, the clip that attaches the lamp to the bike could be a touch stronger, my son accidentally broke his but the lamp is still worth buying, my son bought a cheap bike lamp in pound land and just swapped the clip (it fitted perfectly) so is good as new again.
