It was cheaply made
The hands were smaller thsn expected, shiny and brown looked like a black persons hands , not much woodgrain look. They actually look creepy on shelf. I threw them out.

It’s not wood but a facsimile. That’s okay though. I have it next to a photo of family and it looks great there.

Junk.
Does not look like wood at all, just red and yellow streaks. I was going to give as a gift but am embarrassed to do so.Shipping status updates are totally bogus. Had 3 different shipping labels, none reflecting the noted origin location. 110% BOGUS JUNK. Hobby Lobby sells the unfinished product for $9.99 and you can finish it yourself much better.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
