Fast turnaround and good insights
It was easy to take the collection and return it to the lab for processing. I got my results via email in under two weeks and... I was pretty underwhelmed. I was expecting more actionable insights but a lot of the results did ring true to what I've noticed about health conditions.

Easy to use but report is not comprehensive nor detailed and a bit generic
The swab test is easy to perform following the directions, and mailing it was simple with the provided mailing kit as well. Between them receiving the package and getting the actual lab results took 2 weeks based on the email notifications they sent. You have to create an account online to activate the test kit and later on to view the test results. Without activation, you can't just mail it in and expect results. There is no paper copy of results sent back, results are only online at the website but you can download a PDF copy from there. The test results, I found possibly a bit lacking in that the findings are a bit generic, and don't include something like the tested value and normal value range for the given test like what you get with blood/lab tests for glucose/triglycerides, cholesterol, etc. What you do get is an indicator whether you are average/normal on a particular category/sensitivity or whether you are deficient in it, or more/less sensitive to something. So there is some usefulness to it.Also to note that when I first received the product, it looked like it could have been tampered with or that it was shipped defective as the factory tamper seal seemed broken, and the box packaging was damaged. So I sent it back for an exchange, and the replacement arrived perfect as expected.

Decent nutrition DNA test kit
This blood test told me how my body may react to various nutrients, process carbs and lipids, and other things that may affect my health and nutrition. One thing that may be very useful is the B9 (folate) marker test. If it says you may be more likely to be low and you're trying to get pregnant, it may help your doctor decide the level of supplemental folate you will need to prevent birth defects such as a cleft palate. Other vitamin markers can help you tailor your diet to prevent likely deficiencies. I can see where this might be a very helpful test for some people struggling with their nutrition.

The fact that it’s processed in CLIA-certified labs gave me confidence in the accuracy of the results. Moreover, the free return shipping to the lab was incredibly convenient. Overall, this test is an invaluable tool for anyone looking to optimize their health. Highly recommend!

DNA Nutrition Test
I got the nutrition version of this test. It was super easy to administer, the instructions were very clear, and it comes with a postage paid label to send it back in. It did take quite a while for the results to come back, but I did find them helpful. It essentially told me I'm lacking in B vitamins (which is probably why I'm soooo tired), and that I'm more likely to gain weight with carbs than the average person. Other things (not all encompassing, but others) that it tests for are salt sensitivity, sweet tooth likelihood, fatty food preference, etc. The results were helpful, but you will need to do your research on what to do with them next if you want this to be money well spent.

Might be more of a gimmick than what it's worth
I've got some known food sensitivities, so I figured I'd use this as a second opinion. I didn't get the same results as the testing in my doctor's office. While this may be good for someone who hasn't been to a doctor yet, there may be other options for you to find verified information.

Not worth the money
Price: $119.00So… this was easy enough to use and the results were fairly quick. That being said the results were vague. For example: “You may have a stronger preference for foods high in fat.” The recommendations were general and provided no great insight. “Limit saturated fats to less than 10% of daily calories and replace them with unsaturated fat, maintain a balanced diet, exercise 150 minutes per week, maintain a constant sleep schedule.” This was the case for all the nutrition insights. I don’t know what I was expecting but this was not helpful in anyway and a total waste of money.

Don’t Rip The Box
I often just cut or tear open boxes- do not do this. You’ll need it to send it in. You have to go online and create an account which is similar to other dna tests. This dna test was easy to use and send out. Took a few weeks but provided some results. I was hoping for a more in-depth result like others, but it’s okay!
