ESV Spiral-Bound Journaling Bible, Prophets (Hardcover): Holy Bible, English Standard Version Hardcover – May 23, 2024

I bought this journaling Bible for my daughter-in-law and she loves it. It gives plenty of room to take notes while reading/studying so you don't have to carry a note pad and take notes that could get lost. I liked it so much I bought another one for my granddaughter. It is beautiful and the print is easy to read. Makes a great gift!

The pages are a good size for art. The paper holds up well enough. I used Sakura Pigma Micron markers as they do not soak through but sharpies. I recommend using a back page for experimenting with your markers. The first pic (dove) was done with acrylic and works fine. The other pages are watercolor. Watercolor = paint, dry, iron and even with ironing there will be some wrinkling. If you paint too wetly it WILL seep thru. Next up I want to experiment with a acrylic paint on the back side of a watercolor page to see what happens. Also playing with colored pencils as there is not page wrinkling. Anyway, it IS a good book for journaling. [My art is in IG: Brigit Bishop Polymath]

I love these spiral bound bible editions. I do wish they could somehow have the whole Bible in One, but I'm guessing it would be HUGE. It is so nice to have it stay open without constantly trying to re-open because it closes on you. I can read it well as the print isn't tiny. I have collected most all of them.

These spiral binder bible set has alot of space for personal notes. They are great when it comes to your personal bible study time. I'll encourage to purchase all 5 books here at Amazon because other place charge is $20 plus per book.

I am a writer and illustrator, and love the Bible, so what could go wrong? I dove in right away and absolutely love the wide-open spaces I can jot down my study notes and doodles. It's PERFECT!
