I have 2 favorite ways to use this pearl powder on my face. I use as a mask and a setting powder. There are 4 suggestions for use on the package. I prefer the easy mask by just adding water, but does give a recipe with some kitchen ingredients. When I apply the mask mixed with only water, it dries fast, but some powder does flake off being a little messy. Doesn't bother me, as the powder is very fine, easy to wipe off my countertop, or disappears on other surfaces. If using the recipe, the powder holds better, but requires more prep work. The powder mixes easily without clumps and I can control the thickness based on the amount of water I mix. Rinses of easily and my skin looked brighter. Using as a setting powder, it absorbs and controls my oily skin. I use a powder brush to apply and it blends easily and is translucent. Has a unpleasant smell, but not strong and is only noticeable when using as a mask. Smells how I would expect freshwater pearl to smell.

I've never tried pearl powder before and without knowing anything expected it to be sparkly and shimmery, but it's not at all. It's white and very fine, but when applied on the skin like you would with finishing powder, it gets absorbed and disappears into the skin. This is my favorite way of using this powder.Another way I like is to mix with lotion. I scoop a little and mix it in with lotion and it was not clumpy at all. It was easy to mix and apply and then apply the powder right on my face and it blended in soaking up the lotion on my skin. The third way is to make a face mask using it which I haven't done. I'm sure it works well, but I have a lot of face masks so I didn't want to use this up on that.This is an inexpensive way to have quality mineral powder as a finishing powder. It's much better than the usual concoction in most powders like corn starch! Highly recommend this natural powder that's great for your skin.

This pearl powder is absolute luxury. I have used it as a setting powder and as a finishing powder. It is so light and silky. It is incredibly fine and it goes onto skin so smoothly. It absorbs skin oil, creating the perfect base for makeup.I can't really compare this pearl powder to anything else I have used before. It is better than any setting powder I have used. It is just so fine and luxurious. It makes my skin perfectly smooth and so soft.
